It had been a couple of months since Angel died and Buffy ran away for a couple of months and though all that time Fiona was trying to get over the littoral pain that she had from Spike leaving and luckily soon enough the pain got easier to live with.
Fiona had also gotten better since what Angel did to her. She still had nightmares but not every night anymore and she didn't throw up when memory's of having her ears cut off or being carved into anymore so another plus.
A lot had happened like Homecoming when Buffy and Cordelia had run for Queen but either had won and they had also spent most of the dance getting hunted by vampires and demons so that sucked for them but not so much Fiona because she spent the whole night dancing and eating sweets.
And you can't forget when all the grown ups were eating this candy they had to sell for the marching band but ended up being drugged or something and made them act like teenagers.
Fiona had ended up finding Giles and Joyce making out on top of a cop car that day. She had run home and washed her eyes out for about an hour before Oz dragged her away from the sink and brought her to go and find Buffy to figure out what was wrong.
They also found out that Angel was alive again and that Buffy had known the whole time Fiona understood that Buffy loves Angel but she could have at least told them.
Now Fiona feared seeing him again not knowing what would happen if she had to see him again.
They had a talk with Buffy in the library but Fiona never even gotta say anything Xander only used her as an excuse about why Angel should be dead so she ended up leaving (not knowing Giles stuck up for her) because it wasn't like they were talking to her only about her.
Fiona had gone and talked to Faith who she was pretty close to and talked to her about how Angel was alive she had already told Faith about everything he had done so later on when Fiona went home Faith had gone to go and kill him and Buffy stopped her.

The next day things were 'okay' Fiona had been avoiding Buffy mostly just hanging out with Oz or Cordelia.
Fiona grins as she happily skipped over to Oz who was waiting at her locker.
"What's your score?" Oz asked Fiona who could barely stand still.
"I got 1428!" Fiona practically shouted as she gave him the paper.
"That great Fiona." Oz gave the dark brown haired girl a hug that she gladly accepted.
"Thank you. I have to go and tell Giles." Fiona said before skipping away and going into the library only to see Buffy talking to Giles making her mood shift a little.
