But I knew you, dancin in your Levi's
Im confused. Why the hell is Sienna commenting on my Instagram post nice shit? Me and Luke sat here the next day in my room staring at it in confusion the next night. We were giving each other pep talks for the big party tonight that would basically commence all official wedding festivities and shit. Neither of us wanted to be social tonight with anyone but each other.
"Maybe she doesn't know you guys dated?" Luke offered.
"I only posted him every fucking week when we were together" I rolled my eyes. She knows. She liked our pics. "Maybe it's a 'keep your friends close but enemies closer situation'?" I thought. That wasn't it. She was honestly just too nice. Or maybe that's exactly it and she wasn't actually that nice.
"She's a nice girl though" Luke groaned. "I don't know, maybe let's not fret. We're gonna be late as hell if we keep sitting here"
"And?" I asked in confusion. We were both ready to go, we just did not want to but we had to. "I'm really not rushing to get there and look at how great Sienna looks then have to eat and drink and get bloated."
Luke smacked my arm and glared at me. "If I hear you say something like that again I'm telling your mom. And mine"
"I was being dramatic" I half lied. It really didn't make me feel good that she looks so pretty all the time.
"Quinn has been blowing up my phone this whole time so we should head down" Luke sighed. He helped me stand on up to my feet covered in some cute heels and we walked hand in hand down to this lovely celebration.
I will say the main venue was beautiful. It was outside and above us were pretty lights to illuminate the area, everywhere you looked had beautiful flowers, and the ground was clean and there was even a little pond to walk across.
My throat closed as I saw Sienna in a beautiful long sundress and her hair slicked back off her neck, smiling beside Jack. I wanted to run and hide but I remembered not only Luke's words but Rory's from earlier. Stop comparing. I looked good too. I straightened my back and through my hair back off my chest. "Let's do this" I muttered.
As we walked over to our group I spotted Rory. He was with the same group of guys from before. Most likely the other Groomsmen. My eyes flickered between my friends and him, or more like Jack and him. "What are you doing?" Luke asked in confusion, wondering why I stopped.
"I'm gonna go see Rory for a little. I'll be over later. Unless you want to come with me." He thought about it for waving it off.
"Nah, go make friends and go make Jack realize he's an idiot" he smirked. "But don't stay there all night I need you too" he reminded me.
"I know, I can't go that long without you" I grinned as I walked over to Rory, tapping him on the shoulder. He turned and looked at me with a big smile before scooping me in his arms and hugging me. "Stop it!" I squealed as I laughed.
"Guys this is Lily Jewel, the girl I told you about. The one who did not come to our cabana earlier" he teased. I blushed and apologized but they all brushed it off.
"We met her bro" One of them said, I think Caleb was his name. "I don't know how your still able to stand him" he joked again.
"Hey he's not too bad. Better than being with my ex and his new girl" I scoffed, looking over my shoulder to directly meet the icy stare of Jack Hughes. He didn't look happy. Yet, apart of me felt satisfied. I simply looked back to the guys who all clearly saw him glaring this way.
"I'm gonna assume it's Mr. Jersey Devil" they pointed out. "He's a fantastic player"
"Yeah he is" I sighed. You can't argue that.
