After I finished talking, I slowly turned my gaze back to Aoko, watching for her reaction. "I-uhhh..." Aoko responded with a slight frown.

"I'm sorry, Kaito..." She apologized.

"I'm sorry for lashing out at you earlier... I really didn't mean what I said about you... It's really hard to explain it, but... it's not like I really hate you or anything... It's just that... I just feel frustrated? Maybe..." Aoko said, a smile forming on her face.

I chuckled at her response. "Ehhh, what's that? You don't "really hate" me?" I joked.

"Ughhh, you're teasing me againnn." She pouted, placing her hands on her waist.

We both shared laugh and resumed cleaning up together. Despite our teasing and occasional arguments, we always found ways to apologize in our own silly way. Once we finished cleaning, Aoko suddenly stopped me before I could leave their house.

"K-Kaito, wait!" She called out, making me stop on the spot.

"Hmm? What is it?" I turned to face her.

"Uhhh... Are you... f-free this weekend?..." She nervously asked, avoiding eye contact with me while fidgeting with her thumbs together.
