After we left the people with us, Kaito suggested that we should head back home due to the unexpected case that happened today at Tropical Land. As we walk out of the amusement park, I noticed the disappointment on his face.

"Looks like our date's going to be cut short thanks to the case today..." Kaito sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping as he walks.

His words caught me off guard, causing me to pause in my tracks. 'It's such a shame that our day had to end like this... but maybe... Maybe there's another way for us to continue...' As I stood there, lost in thought, I found myself watching him walk ahead of me without even realizing it.

I picked up my pace to match Kaito's as we made our way home together. When we finally arrived at my place, Kaito said his usual goodbyes and turned to leave. Just as he started to walk away, I suddenly called out to him, catching his attention.

"T-Then—" He paused mid-step, turning back towards me with a curious expression. "Hmm?" He replied, waiting for me to continue.

"S-Since we didn't get to properly finish today... Then... Tomorrow it's a real d-date!" I blurted out, my voice trembling with every word.

Without waiting for his response, I felt my face flush with embarrassment and hurried inside, closing the door behind me in a rush. My heart raced as I made my way to my room, leaving him standing alone outside, probably still processing what I had just said.
