The way Kaito patted my head made my heart flutter. His gentle touch sent shivers down my spine, causing my heart to skip a beat. It pounded so fast that I was afraid to come too close, worried he might hear its loud thumping. I took a step back, trying to hide the rapid rhythm from Kaito.

'I don't think I'll be able to stay calm now that this is a 'real' date.' I thought to myself.

Today, we agreed to go to an aquarium in Beika City for our date. When I mentioned that I wanted to see their special magic show program for today, Kaito joked that we should just change our plans because he would rather perform his own magic show since he was 'better' than any other magician out there. Naturally, I ignored his over-the-top self-praise and rolled my eyes, not wanting to inflate his already massive ego any further.

We were just a few blocks away from the aquarium when Kaito suddenly turned to me and asked, "By the way, Aoko, what made you decide to go to the aquarium in Beika City today instead of somewhere else?"

His question caught me off guard, making me pause for a moment.

I furrowed my brow and tilted my head, trying to understand Kaito's question. "Hmm? What do you mean? Don't you like the aquarium?" I asked him.
