I was still holding on to Yoonah's hand, walking ahead without knowing my destination. When, she suddenly to the lead and we landed into an empty classroom. She looked at me and wiped my tears. I hugged her tight. She patted my back for a while and then made me face her.

"I know you were angry, but you shouldn't have said that." Yoonah stated while sighing.

"Say what? Jinijja!  Why are you siding with him?" I asked baffled.

"About his noona. He has hard feelings towards you because of her. Although I don't know if this is the right situation to explain but, I think you deserve knowing the truth." Yoonah replied guiltily.

"His sister's name is Jang Wonyoung. She i-" She continued.

"Wait- Jang Wonyoung?"

"Yeah, you know her?"

"Kind of. Finish then I'll tell." I said.

"Wonyoung walked on a busy road because Jungwon heard her crying about the time she saw you with Dongwoo. She thought he cheated on her, with you. She didn't know Dongwoo was your cousin because he never explained. She got in an accident because of you." Yoonah replied.

"Okay, get to the part where it's my fault." I stated, sarcastically. Sorry, I don't know it just comes to me.

"I know you are not the one at fault Chae. But you don't know the environment he grew up in. Everyone knows he's rich, but they don't see the struggles. His father married another woman soon after Jungwon's mom died. He didn't like that. No five-year-old would like his father loving someone other than his mom. He resented her and Wonyoung, his step-noona from the moment they entered the house. He didn't love her. He was going through a bad phase. He grew close to his step-mother eventually, but his guilt for hating his kind sister made it worse. He didn't know how to make it up to her." Yoonah narrated.

"Seriously, where'd he get that cold dude personality from. Alien." I said and scoffed.

"That was when you came in picture. Remember the time I went out of station for around 8-9 months. I think you met her then right, she was that loving unnie of yours. When he saw you and Wonyoung get close, he got jealous and distanced himself more from her. He felt bad for resenting you, but at the same time he couldn't do anything about it. Then, the accident happened. Imagine your noona, trying to take her life because of someone you don't necessarily like. It must've been hard for him right. Though, either way, Dongwoo left for good as he had been two timing with someone else. Such a jerk." Yoonah finished.

"So, the girl I saved from an accident, had gone so far as to taking her life, all because of me?" I questioned feeling weak suddenly, "I thought she trusted me."

"You knew her? Don't tell me she was the one you had a fracture saving." Yoonah asked, concern showing in her eyes. Suddenly, scenes of that night started flashing in my mind. I closed my eyes and held my head as it started spinning.

FLASHBACK

I was running after Wonyoung unnie because she had been running from me in heavy rain for like 15 minutes now. I wanted to know the reason she was ignoring me. I ran after her as she walked straight onto a busy road. I saw a car coming closer at high speed.

"UNNIEE!" I shouted and jumped at her in defense. Her head hit the ground and I was on top of her when the car tyre ran on my left leg. I screamed because of the pain but then I saw unnie lying lifelessly on the ground. It was a quiet road so the rider got away easily. I somehow gathered all the courage to stand up and take unnie to a nearby hospital because her head was bleeding. I reached the hospital and they took her in the OT, I collapsed on the floor because of the pain but woke up soon after they bandaged by fracture and gave me a painkiller. I stayed up all night in the hospital and got out soon after clearing her bills with my parents in the morning. The sum was high so my parents asked the staff to stay quiet about our identity.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"EUNCHAE! ARE YOU FINE? YOU'VE BEEN SHAKING." Yoonah shouted shaking me vigorously. I shook my head and grabbed one of the chairs to sit on.

"I know her, but I didn't know she was Jungwon's sister. The time you went out of town, I was lonely, I somehow caught up to her in Sunghoon's birthday party. She favoured and cherished me so much, I don't know why she can think of me like that. There must've been some other reason." I stated in deep thought while breathing heavily. I got a panic attack. Yay!

Suddenly a student rushed towards the class we were in and said,

"Eunchae, the principal is looking for you."

"I'm coming in five."

"So how do we prove him innocent?" Yoonah asked.

"I'm still not sure if he didn't do this though." I joked.

"He never went to the washroom bitch. I wanted to stretch the argument so that we could delay the final verdict." Yoonah explained seriously.

"I know, he said something about his perfume being stolen." I continued and walked around in deep thought.

"We better find out fast." Yoonah said glancing over the door. All of a sudden a thought crossed over my mind and I exclaimed,

"I think I know who did this, let's go."
