I was shocked and I choked on air. On fucking air cuz there was nothing else to choke on. I have choked so many times already I might as well die while choking. The atmosphere was very awkward and now has become extremely awkward. I shot a glance at Eunchae who rolled her eyes.

"'Feel it by the way you look at each other' my ass. Did you also 'feel' it by looking at Bohyun and Jisoo that their dating scandal was media play?" Eunchae sarcastically reverted. Ouch, that hurt (but why?). The other girl, whom I assumed was Soojin from the other class, scoffed.

"Nevermind. I support Vsoo anyways." Soojin mumbled.

"Go buy some taste, TAENNIE IS THE BEST." Eunchae spoke but we both said the Taennie part together. I looked at her amused and she did the same.

"Jeez guys, I was testing your couple's telepathy. Of course, I'm on team Taennie. But since you both passed the test, you are a couple for me." Soojin laughed looking at our reactions.

"What the fuck is a couple's telepathy?" Eunchae questioned and five random people started wiggling their eyebrows at us. I cleared my throat but my face was burning. Gimme some ice noww. Before Soojin could say something, the elevator door opened. 

"Gotta go mates." Eunchae spoke and dragged me with her.

I don't know why but I become very sarcastic when I'm nervous. I don't mean to hurt people's feelings but yeah why the hell am I nervous? It's not like we're actually dating. My racing heartbeat slowly calmed down and I knew I looked flustered. Shut up Chae, you like Kim Sunoo. We both entered our joint dorm to find everyone chatting without us. I cleared my throat and they all finally got to know we entered the room 2 minutes ago.

"Guys, you're back!" Yoonah spoke garnering all their attention towards us. I looked around to see one of us was missing.

"Where's Sunoo?" I questioned but didn't want to hear the answer I was expecting.

"He's with Jihye from the other class." Heesung answered.

"Yeah, hanging out with her a lot lately." Sunghoon spoke high-fiving with Niki as they shared a knowing smile. Little did they know what I felt.

"Oh." I mumbled and felt Jungwon squeezing my hand. I looked behind me and gave him a short emotionless smile before entering my room. Yoonah entered the room and side-hugged me who was sitting on the bed.

"You good?" She asked.

"I'm fine," such a meaningless word  "at least he's happy. " I spoke although I didn't feel the words.

"Whom he's happy with won't make you happy, I know that." She replied as if reading my mind.

"What else is there to do then? I've already cried enough over him. Maybe, maybe if I had only shared my feelings before. I can't even blame him." I answered.

"Then don't, don't cry over him anymore. I know this must be hard but we can't force someone to love us you know. There are better guys out there. Sorry to say but Jungwon is a great guy too. The way he treats me so nicely as a sister, makes me wonder what wonders he'll do for the love of his life." She said, her words felt genuine after whatever she had gone through, but they were still not affecting my heart. How can you get over a crush so easily?

Sunghoon entered the room and looked at me crying. He signaled Yoonah to leave and replaced her spot beside me.

"Hey, what made my baby sister cry?" He questioned.

"Shush hyung. Someone will hear us." I hushed him. Yes, I know, Park Sunghoon is my cousin and is also Park Dongwoo's real brother. I figured out that with rumors of Dongwoo and I being siblings, they'll eventually link him into it too. I've already suffered a lot of bad things because of Dongwoo, I don't want hyung to pay for his misdeeds too. He knows it too. Not to mention he and Dongwoo are miles apart, you have no idea how much I have theorized about the idea that they came out of the same womb.

"Is it any of my friends? Did Jungwon do something? Chae you know you can tell me right?" Sunghoon asked, but this time in a hushed voice. He wrapped one arm around my shoulder and scooted close.

"It's just a stupid crush on Kim Sunoo. I don't even understand why I like him. You idiot shipping him with Jihye didn't help much." I answered and he made an awkward smile. 

"How am I supposed to know that if you don't tell me? Anyways, if you want to get over him, I'll help you with that." He spoke and made a big thumbs-up flexing his smile. I wonder sometimes how lucky I was to have brothers like Elijah, Jake, and Sunghoon. I chuckled at his foolishness and rested my head on his shoulder.

Jungwon

It was just infatuation. I reminded myself. After thinking nonstop about Jihye last night, I concluded that I didn't like her. I always saw her as someone who needs to be protected. She was so naive and still is. She is like my younger sister the rest was just a mild infatuation. I went over to Eunchae's room to check on her after the talk about Sunoo and Jihye in the living room. She was resting her head on Sunghoon hyung's shoulder and they were smiling. What? She changed her crushes that quickly. I felt a tingle inside me, an urge to push Sunghoon away, but I couldn't just do that without an explanation. What was that feeling? I cleared my throat and they looked at me as I called them for dinner. Aish! 

We all had dinner and were talking about random things. There was an unexpected discussion about balls(yeah, the dirty meaning), and Jay started telling a random story of his stupid friend doing something stupid.

"Yeah, I know. Even I know someone else who is such a stupid bimbo." Jake spoke eyeing Eunchae as she rolled her eyes.

"Jamu mo atama mo motanai hito wa kō iimasu. [Says the one who got no brain as well as no jams.]" Eunchae said something in Japanese I couldn't understand. But Niki started laughing. I was quite surprised by her fluency. What can I expect of a person who lives in Japan? I envy her, I bet I've watched more anime than her. I should have been the one going to Japan.

"What did this brat say?" Jake asked because it sounded fishy.

"Hahahaha- She said tha-"Niki was cut off by Eunchae,

"Nikisan, kore wa watashi to anata dake no himitsudesu. [Niki, this is a secret between me and you.]" Eunchae spoke in warning style as Niki did a zipping mouth sign. Did she say I love you to him or what? Bruh why do I care?

"Gosh, you know Japanese too?" Jay gasped.

"Yeah. Dude, she bickers in English when she's angry, she speaks Japanese when she wants to converse secretly with Niki or Sunoo, Korean normally, and Mandarin when with Jake sometimes." Yoonah finished her sentence for her.

I looked around to see Niki and Eunchae giggling at eachother and couldn't help but feel that feeling again. Was it jealousy?
