Eunchae

We were about to board our plane back to Seoul. There was still half an hour left and I had already done the payments, so I thought of roaming around. I was checking out these pretty earrings for my mom when someone bumped into me.

"Hey man, watch out." I spoke in English startled. Suddenly I heard two familiar voices overlapping.

"Evie?" (English accent)

"Eunchae-ssi?" (Korean accent)

"No way." I turned around to find my father's family friends' kids, Choi Soobin and Choi Yeonjun.

"What are you doing here?" Yeonjun spoke.

"College trip. You?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Oh, we wanted to have a trip to Australia. If I had known you were about to go here, we would've either tagged along or brought you and Jakey with us." Soobin replied. I hugged them as we met after quite a long time. We hadn't seen them since we went to Japan. 

I felt someone tapping my shoulder,

"Who are they?" Jungwon inquired. Just then, Jake spotted us ran ran over to meet Yeonbin. 

"Ayoo, man. How are you both?" Jake exclaimed and gave them short hugs as well.

"We're good. But wait, you guys are returning today too?" Soobin asked.

"Korean Air." I added.

"Flight 206." Yeonjun added.

"2:20 p.m."

"Standard Economy Coach."

"Seat number, 26,"

"27 and 28."

"YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYYAYA!" We both shouted in sync and jumped holding each other's hands. When we were finally out of breath, we stopped to see Jungwon and Jake looking at us disgusted while Soobin just smiled. 

"You guys have the same energy, 'too much to handle'." Jake scoffed.

"Can't do anything, I have 'Yeonjun hyung' energy." I said and winked at him as a joke. He winked back.

"Ew guys stop." Jake spoke utterly disgusted.

"So now as you must know, we are the friends of Evie and Jake." Soobin spoke while putting his arm around Jungwon's shoulder.

"Who's Evie?" Jungwon questioned. Aishhh this man.

"It's Eunchae dumbass." Yeonjun said.

"Hey, I'm not familiar with you neither are you, my friend. Don't call me that." Jungwon replied. Why so sensitive suddenly?

"We should go now, we have to collect all our little children and carry 'em to the plane. See ya there." I fluttered my fingers as a bye and ran away holding Jungwon's hand.

Everyone was settling themselves and I saw Yeon and Bin coming toward me. They were about to sit on the two empty seats beside me when Jungwon exclaimed,

"M. O. V. E. My seat number is 25." 

I moved a seat and now I was in the middle. Soobin gave me an understanding smile and sat beside Yeji. It was now Yeonjun, then me, and Jungwon. The way both of them looked at each other, made me feel it was going to be a tough ride.

But, it wasn't. Slowly they both warmed up to each other. Especially when the discussion of My Demon, the ongoing fictional Kdrama started. Jungwon started to point out how familiar the personalities of Yeonjun, me, and Jeong Guwon were. Then we talked about shipping the secretaries of Guwon and Dohee, and the boys started discussing how lame Song Kang was because so many girls liked him.

"Don't you both dare say anything about Song Kang, he is my boyfriend." I warned in delusion.

"He isn't even that handsome." Jungwon replied and Yeonjun nodded.

"Shut up, you guys are just jealous that you don't have as many girls drooling around you as they do around him." I stated a fact.

"Nevermind, guys let's watch a movie, shall we?" Yeonjun said changing the topic. I took out my laptop and opened Netflix. I had some movies downloaded already. Smile, The Tall Grass, The Unlisted, and The Fallout were on my watchlist so I downloaded them. We selected The Unlisted series and started watching it. Time passed and we three were the only ones up. Soon Yeonjun fell asleep and Jungwon and I were still wide awake. Sleeping till noon while we were sick was the reason. As soon as we completed the series we talked about how good it was and suddenly we got a call on both our phones, at the same time.

I got a call from Soojin unnie, the nurse at the hospital, Wonnie unnie was in and Jungwon got a call from his mom.

"Eunchae, Wonyoung woke up."

"Jungwon, Wonyoung woke up."

Great, couldn't be more sleepless and excited to get to Seoul tomorrow. As in, I am still wondering if I should go to meet unnie in front of Jungwon, given his history of blaming me for her condition, he won't let me. I would go to her the first thing after I get there.
