Amadeus Sevilla no longer yearns for the warmth of a loving home or the comfort of gentle hands holding him. He thinks he has outgrown those desires. His sole focus has shifted, driven by a newfound desire he never possessed before to become the best that has ever been, not out of want, but out of an insatiable need. because if he doesn't win and doesn't become the best in the world how else would he prove to the young child he caged deep in his head that all the pain they endured was not in vain? He has to prove that the childhood they shared the one they buried together, was worth every ounce of pain and every sacrifice.
Heavy is the head that wears the crown. But amadeus doesn't bear a crown amadeus still bears the name Desrosiers even if he refuses to use it and bears a cross that hangs heavy on his neck. Amadeus bears trauma and years of abuse he bears the impression on his character that the world seems to have, one he has no interest in changing. His back is bent but he knows he's too deep to back out now. They may call him aggressive and dangerous but when he puts on that helmet he will do all it takes to win and he isn't scared of what that could mean because even with the cross around his neck and the world on his shoulder amadeus will not crash, but he will most certainly burn.
