Ruby's pov
Lunch time...
It's been half the school day which means it's time for lunch. My favorite 'class' of the day. Because we get to eat of course! I ran straight to the line that serves Pizza before it got long. When it was finally my turn the Lunch lady talked to me. "Pepperoni or Meat Lovers?" She asked her voice a bit raspy. 'Probably from all the yelling?' I thought.
"Pepperoni please!" I said. She nodded and put the Pepperoni pizza on the plate and gave it to me. "Thank you!" I said before going to find somewhere to sit. This was my first day at high school so I have to try and make new friends. I looked around and saw no familiar faces until I saw Leo with this girl with red hair. 'Hm seems like he does have a friend.' I thought before walking over to them.
"Hey." I said sitting down beside the Red haired girl without even asking if I could sit there. "Who's she?" The Red haired girl asked. He was about to say something but I interrupted him. "Oh I'm Ruby, Ruby Sanchez!" I said. "Azelea, Azelea Garcia." She said. "You're Hispanic too!?" I asked getting a bit excited. "Yes I am!" She said.
Leo groaned in annoyance.

Meanwhile in the town...
A mysterious blue fog has just appeared. And the townsfolk don't know what it is and are a bit afraid. Because they have never seen blue fog before. So a stay at home order was issued for the whole town.

Back at school...
Leo's POV
'Something is happening?' I thought. I could hear it. The wide spread panic of the unknown. It's best not to tell anyone though because it would cause more panic and more screams which I don't like because they hurt my ears. Ya see I have this special ability called Large Ears and it makes me hear very well and even hear those who are invisible. "Leo!" Azelea said touching my shoulder to gain my attention. "You alright?" She asked.
She knows I have this special ability. In fact she has one as well it's called Lizard tail. "Yeah I'm fine." I said. I'll probably only tell her. Because I don't trust Ruby.
