Chapter 7 Investigate

Calum's pov

Ruby, Leo, Azalea and I went out for the day we wanted to hang out with each other to get to know each other since we are the same. Special. Anyway when we were walking past the woods we saw a few cop cars. "What do you think happened?" I asked Leo leaning onto his shoulder and speaking into his ear.

"I don't know it could be anything. Murder, Suicide." Leo said.

I huffed and got up off his shoulder. 'Boring' I thought rolling my eyes. I was thinking of something more exciting, more crazy, more Special.

"Do you not care about the lives that were lost?" Azalea asked me with an angry look on her face.

"Yeah I do." I said. I was just thinking it could be something else. Something that could maybe be fun.

Azalea glared at me. "Ok ok guys let's just stop!" Ruby said getting in between us.

I looked into Ruby's eyes. They are pretty... I started to calm down.

"Good now you two say your sorry." Ruby said reminding me that I should look away.

"I'm sorry Calum I got carried away." Azalea said.

"Hmm it's fine I'm sorry too I have a temperament issue." I said before looking away to see what Leo had been doing.

And he was gone...

"Uh where's Leo?" I asked Ruby and Azealea.

They both shrugged... We started to look for him. We split up. I looked behind a cop car and saw Leo and a female cop talking. 'Oop better not to interfere.' I thought before going to eavesdrop.

"So what's your name kid?" The female cop asked Leo.

"Leo." Leo said.

"Last name?" The female cop asked raising an eyebrow.

"Winchester." Leo said.

"Thank you." The female cop said.

"So where were you between midnight and 3am?" The female cop asked.

"I was with my friends, we were all hanging out." Leo said.

'Friends? He means Ruby, Azalea and me right?' I thought.

"Ok and where are your friends now?" The female cop asked.

"We were hanging out but you dragged me aside to question me." Leo said kinda passive aggressively.

"Ok one more question and I'll let you leave." The female cop said.

"Shoot." Leo said.

"Have you noticed anything strange lately?" The female cop asked.

"No nothing at all." Leo said.

The female cop sighed. It felt like she was relieved. "Thank you for answering all my questions, maybe your friends can answer some to." The female cop said nicely.

She seemed to be a young cop probably in her mid twenties, had blonde hair and green eyes, wore glasses and had a mole on her right cheek.

"Sure anything to help with the investigation." Leo said.

"Thanks it really means a lot." The female cop said. She seemed overly happy.

"No problem happy to help." Leo said before walking off. I followed him. He found us and told us exactly what happened.

I honestly don't like being questioned for anything...
