The Blue Fog

Chapter 4 The Specials

Leo's pov

School was finally out! It seemed like it would last forever. All of the students walked out of the exit to the school and stopped in their tracks when they all saw a mysterious blue fog. "Ok everyone get back home to your parents this is a stay at home order!" A police officer said directing people to where their supposed to be. "Sure." I said to the officer giving him a fake smile. Like hell I'm going home. I've gotta figure something out."Leo where are you going!? That's not the way home!" Azelea asked running after me. "Got something to do." I said starting to walk faster. "But we don't know what this is!" She said keeping up pace with me.

I stopped in my tracks."That's exactly what I'm going to figure out!" I whispered hearing someone follow us. "But you can't do that alone let me help!" She said. I sighed. She's been with me through thick and thin. Shes been with me since childhood. You'd think by now I could say no to her but nope I can't."Alright if it gets dangerous your out!" I said."I can take care of myself!" She said wipping her Lizard tail out. It was as big as an Alligators tail and it was light green."Ok put that away before someone sees!" I said touching her tail before it slapped me away.

"Too late!" A female voice said. I knew someone was following me! "Sorry!" Azelea whispered before helping me up. I wasn't hurt. I looked at the Stalker. It was Ruby! Of course it was Ruby! "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Um well you seemed to be acting suspicious so I followed you. And I knew you were up to something!" She said excitedly. "So what do you want?" I asked crossing my arms raising an eyebrow. "I want in!" She said. That was unexpected. I thought she was the one to snitch on you when you did something wrong. Guess I was wrong.

"So where do we start?" Ruby asked. "I don't know." I said. "Why don't we go to the park?"  Azelea suggested. "Good idea Azelea!" I said. "You two dating?" Ruby asked. "No!" Me and Azelea both yelled. "Ok jeez!" Ruby said.

We made it to the park before it was sundown. It did feel a bit cold and creepy out here. But nothing out of the ordinary. "Where to next?" Azelea asked. "Why don't we walk the neighborhood?" Ruby suggested. "Sure why not?" I asked. We walked to the neighborhood closest to the park. "So what are we looking for exactly?" Ruby asked. "Anything out of the ordinary." I said. "What are you Zach Bagans!?" Ruby asked. "Who?" I asked. Ruby facepalmed.

"When we are done with this we are watching Ghost Adventures!" Ruby said. "Who says I'd even watch it with you?" I asked. We aren't friends!

"GET OFF ME!!" I heard someone yell. I started running towards the sound. I arrived at a house in a neighborhood. I opened the door with no hesitation. It was unlocked anyway. The sound was coming from upstairs. "Hey did you even hear me!? I said get off!" The voice who yelled said. Then I heard a loud bang as if someone had hit the wall with their head or body. I ran quickly upstairs. And saw something particularly interesting. There was someone on fire and they had a burned body by their feet. They turned around quickly and looked at me. "Who are you?" They asked they're voice muffled by the flames. "I uh I'm Leo." I said.

"What were you doing in my house?" They asked. "Well I heard someone yell." I said. "From all the way out there?" They asked raising they're eyebrow which was now a red flame. "Yeah ya see I kinda have super hearing but I call it Large ears!" I said.

"GOD YOUR FAST!" Ruby yelled bursting through the open door. She looked up and her eyes widened. "Your on Fire!" She yelled before running downstairs getting some water and splashing it on them making the flames go out and leaving a boy soaked. Ruby blinked. "Ohh sorry!" Ruby said.

And now finally Azelea came into the room out of breath. "Who are you guys anyway?" The now soaked boy asked. "We are the Specials!" Ruby said doing a Super hero pose. I rolled my eyes and groaned.

"This annoying girl is Ruby Sanchez, I am Leo Winchester and the one that just came in is my childhood friend Azelea Garcia." I said. "Hey!" Ruby retorted to me calling her annoying. "And you are?" I asked ignoring her. "I am Calum Silverstone." He said. "Can I call you Blaze!?" Ruby asked. "Sure I guess." He said shrugging. "Ok Blaze have you seen Ghost Adventures?" Ruby asked. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah who hasn't?" Calum asked. "I know right!" Ruby said.
