The following day at the studio was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by talented and passionate producers, I delved into the heart of songwriting. Ideas flowed, melodies weaved through the air, and lyrics were created from the depths of emotions. Each note seemed to tell a story, and with every word, I felt like I was pouring a piece of my soul into the music.Hours turned into moments as we fine-tuned potential song ideas, exploring different sounds and experimenting with harmonies. The studio buzzed with creative energy, leaving me inspired and exhilarated. By the time I left, my mind was ablaze with possibilities, and I couldn't wait to bring these ideas to life.
When I returned to the flat, the aroma of Nando's filled the air, and my stomach rumbled in response. Harry and Cal had set up the dinner table, complete with all our favorite dishes.
"This was really sweet, thank you, guys" I smiled, feeling a rush of gratitude for their thoughtfulness.
"Val it's just Nandos" Cal laughed
"Yes but it was still really nice, freezy"
"Yea Freezy" Harry mocked, making us all laugh.
After the meal, I cleared the table and headed to my room. I slipped into comfortable clothes, as the evening settled in. I made my way to the balcony, a serene haven amidst the bustling city. Harry was already there, his silhouette against the city lights.
"Hey," I greeted, sitting down cross-legged on the chair next to him.
"Hey, Val," he replied, a warm smile curving his lips.
We fell into an easy conversation, the night air carrying our words into the vastness of the cityscape. Harry shared stories from his journey in the YouTube industry, the challenges he faced, and the moments that made it all worth it.
"You know," Harry began, breaking the comfortable silence, "I got into YouTube because I loved making people laugh. It started as a hobby, but it became something more. Now, it's a way to connect with millions of people, share experiences, and create memories."
I nodded, captivated by his words. "That's amazing. It's incredible how technology allows us to form these connections, to share our lives with others in such a unique way."
He smiled, his eyes reflecting the city lights. "And what about you, Val? What made you dive into the world of music?"
I took a moment to gather my thoughts, my gaze returning to the cityscape. "For me, music has always been a way to express the things I couldn't put into words. It's a universal language that transcends boundaries. I believe in the power of music to heal, to inspire, and to bring people together. I wanted to be a part of that magic, to create something that resonates with others, something that speaks to the heart."
Harry nodded in understanding, the night around us alive with possibility. At that moment, under the starlit sky and amidst the city's gentle hum, our connection deepened.
"Do you have any siblings?" I questioned.
"Yes, I have two younger siblings. My younger sister is called Rosie, and then my younger brother is called Josh. I'm really close with my family, to be honest. Some of the boys make fun of me for it, but I wouldn't change it for the world." He responded.
"That's really sweet, family is a big part of my life as well." I smiled.
"What about you, any siblings?" He asked.
"Yes, I'm actually the youngest, I have an older brother called Jake, I could not imagine life without him to be honest, as weird as it sounds".
"No, I completely understand what you're saying" Harry replied.
"The view is so peaceful" I noted
"I never really came out here before, but now I literally look forward to just sit here every night. It's like a break from everything" he replied
As the night wore on, we continued our conversation, and the balcony became our sanctuary.
