The morning sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm, golden glow into my room, inviting me to start the day. I had plans to spend the day at Faith's family home, which was surrounded by nature and adorned with stables. With my car loaded up, I drove to the countryside estate, excitement bubbling.

As I arrived, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of her home. With lush greenery and the scent of blooming flowers permeating the air. Faith had mentioned that her family was on holiday, leaving her in charge, and she had planned a girls' night to make the most of the serene atmosphere.

Freya and Talia were already there, their laughter filling the air as they explored the stables. Faith's pony captured my heart instantly, its gentle eyes and graceful demeanour leaving me in awe.

"Oh my god, she's adorable," I said, stroking the tiny animal.

"Her name is Lily, she's only a baby at the moment" Faith responded.

"I'm taking her home with me," I said, giggling.

We settled at an outdoor table, where Faith had prepared a charcuterie board and a glass of wine for each of us. The conversation flowed effortlessly

"So how are things with you and Harry after the festival?" Faith questioned.

This made Talia and Freya sit up eagerly, confusion laced across their faces.

"What happened between you and Harry?!" Freya asked.

"There was a brief moment where I thought maybe, I liked Harry. But it turns out, I don't and I am honestly happy with Thomas at the moment. " I said smiling.

"How did you come to the realisation that you don't?" Talia said.

"When Harry and the bartender were flirting," I said, taking a sip of my wine.

"And why did you think you liked Harry in the first place?" Freya responded eagerly.

"I guess we get on quite well, and there were a few moments but it was nothing more than a fleeting moment" I answered her.

"Babes, there were more than just a few moments. Even as an outsider, I saw that. But I support whatever choice you make," Faith said, smiling.

Their smiles and understanding glances put me at ease, and we shifted our focus to lighter topics.

After indulging in the delightful charcuterie, we changed into our comfy clothes, donned face masks, and settled in for a cozy movie night. The room was filled with the soft glow of fairy lights, creating a warm and inviting ambience. As the night wore on, we decided to cook some pasta for dinner, the aroma wafting through the kitchen and adding to the homey atmosphere.

With tunes playing in the background, a spontaneous burst of energy overcame us. I grabbed a wooden spoon, using it as a makeshift microphone, and started singing along.

Faith jumped onto the island table, her movements graceful and carefree, as Freya and Talia joined in the impromptu dance party. Laughter and joy filled the air as we sang and danced, the carefree moment becoming a cherished memory. The night passed in a whirlwind of happiness and camaraderie, creating a bond between us that felt like the true essence of friendship.
