VEDANSH'S POV:
My luck, my love, my wife.
If ever want to describe her I won't find enough adjectives. Lying beside her I could just think how many talents she has! Yesterday when I saw her making those rotis on Chulha I couldn't help but when she didn't pay attention asked the lady 'Rewa' to give me those. She knew how to cook food in most traditional ways despite growing up in a big city like Mumbai. Never forgetting her roots she is still so grounded. I could just admire her.
"Good morning" She wished in a sleepy voice slowly opening her doe shaped eyes which held the most beautiful wonders in them.
V: "Good morning, lotus." I said kissing her forehead.
D:"What time it is?"
Reaching out to my mobile with one hand as one was below her head, I saw the time "5.12"
D: "Hmmm, common get up let's get ready, we need to reach by evening and am driving now. You are tired."
V: "No, I'm not tired."
D: "I want to drive."
V: "Fine only for few hours. We are almost by Gujarat border and will reach Jodhpur till evening if start the journey by 7."
D: "Done" She chirped excitingly and we both got ready. Bidding goodbye to Mohan and his family we continue our journey. Each of us taking turns to drive and pausing only for meal. She already had snacks with her, if we got hungry. She would literally make me unfit with the food she prepares if ever I skip the workout and other dietary plans.
We reached the fort in evening. Maharaj ji had our dinner ready and after freshening up we had the dinner. Us being tired we slept as soon as laid on the bed.
Next Morning:
"Kunwar sa, what time do we need to meet your client and I don't understand, why he wants to meet me?" She asked combing her hair as I answered coming out of the bathroom. "Baby, try talking about us too."
D: "What do you mean?"
"I mean why are you worrying about the client don't you think you should rather talk about us." I said coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped down, only to see her reaction.
"You asked me to come here for the client." She said still not looking towards me.
"No darling, I asked you to accompany me because I didn't want to be alone here." I said as I came closer to her, keeping my hands on her waist and she gasped. Turning towards me she said "You lied."
V: "No, I didn't."
D: "You did, you asked me to come here to meet the client about some new project."
V: "I didn't, you misunderstood."
D: " we need to leave for Jodhpur at 4 and it's necessary for the deal we are doing. Those were your literal words. We ok you said we."
