Even after spending time together, going on dates, meeting in office for days it seems like nothing matters to jeongguk. It's like he was there physically but mentally he was somewhere else. Sometimes he doesn't even bother to say goodbye after having dinner when they go out. Sometimes he just act like she isn't even in front of him.
He was right when he said they are just going to be like strangers.
But it hurts rose, why does it has to be so complicated. Yes she knows he warned her and told her that there's already someone in his heart but still she can't stop loving him just like that, just because he told him that there is someone else.
Maybe one day he'll forget about that person with time, maybe after their marriage everything is gonna be fine, maybe she can win his heart or maybe she can replace that person.
Oh now who's gonna tell her that this is Jeon Jeongguk, the person who loved only one person and going to love him only till his last breathe, he is his first morning thought, the last evening sigh and every goddamn thing in between. For once he can forget himself but not him.
It's noon time and Roseanne visit jeongguk once again and decided to bring home cooked meal for him. She thinks that of course it's not easy to forget your love so jeongguk will take time but eventually got over with it.
So she knocked on his office door and heard a muffled "come in".
When she entered the room she saw him smiling, and for a brief moment the time stopped for her. The Almighty Jeon Jeongguk who never smiles and always there in his tough facade with 24/7 blank face and void eyes is smiling and looking so soft and fragile rather being a true blood alpha.
Maybe I'm dreaming
She broke out of her trance when she heard jeongguk calling her.
"Miss Park on earth" He says and chuckle looking at her.
Did he just chuckled, before he neve-
"Miss Park are you okay?" He asks now coming towards her.
The person who never bothered to greet her, the person who always shows her that she didn't even exist for him is suddenly asking if she is alright?
"Miss park" He says a bit loud than earlier to get her attention.
She broke out of her trance when she heard jeongguk
"Oh i-m I'm sorr-y actually, wait are you okay? "Instead she ask looking at him with shocked plastered on her face.
"Of course I am" He says and turned around to sat on the couch.
"Oh" She says and followed behind him.
She put down the lunch box on the table and opened it for jeongguk to have. He took the first bite and looked at her.
"It's good" He says and continues eating without any-
You didn't need to bring me lunch miss park
This is not what I prefer to eat
It's a bit spicy and so on....
Instead he said "it's good" She replied with a "thank you" And just sat there looking at him with a lot of things going on her head, is finally things are going to be okay?
She was packing the lunch box when jeongguk's phone rang in the silent room,he just picked it up with the same smile she saw earlier.
"Yeah hyung I want everything in his favorite colour all in purple" He says on the phone with a huge grin.
