Breakfast was soft pancakes and berries, maple syrup threaded upon the top. The smell is so delicious.

"Mom where's tae?" Jeongguk asks, when he reached the dining table and didn't see the younger.

"Oh he went to school early today, said had morning extra classes" Mrs jeon replied, while serving the breakfast to him.

But he didn't told me maybe he forgot it's okay jeongguk it's not a big deal, it's not like he's avoiding me or something.

"Oh okay" He says, and started to have his breakfast.

"Kook?"

"Hum"

"I need to talk to you about something" She says with a tender smile.

"Alright mom, how about this evening when I come back home, it's already getting late" He says getting up and ready to leave but abruptly stopped.

"Mom where's father, why he didn't joined us for breakfast? " He asks with a frown.

"He went to L.A with Mr Park, said there are some things to be taken care and didn't bother to explain me further" Mrs jeon says, with a shrug.

"What's wrong? "

"I need to talk to him about something important as soon as possible, okay I'm leaving now take care" Jeongguk says, kissing her forehead and bidding his goodbye.

It's 4 o'clock when jeongguk decided to call it a day, too early for his liking but there are other important things than work right now.
He went to taehyung's school right after from there to pick him up.

It's already time where's he?

It's been twenty minutes now and there's no sign of taehyung. After sometime he notices that one of taehyung classmate is coming out of the gates of school, the one taehyung always stays with but he doesn't remember his name.So he went to him to ask about the younger.

"Ah-hmm" Jeongguk cleared his throat to gain his attention.

Jimin turned around at the voice, and smiled so brightly at the other that jeongguk thought is he alright, they are not that close for these kinda smiles.

"Oh Mr jeon, what are you doing here? " He asks.

"I came here to pick up ta-"

Jimin cut him off in the middle to say with a frown on his face"oh but he already went home, you didn't know? Seems like he forgot? But it never happened before, he always tells you right?"

And he felt a pang in his heart at the others questions.

Exactly this never happened before

"Yeah, maybe he really forgot" Jeongguk says, a profound emptiness opened up inside him, threatening to swallow him whole.

jimin can easily notices his emotions if he's not good at hiding them but sometimes it's become hard to do that and it's just shows no matter how much you tries.

And that's exactly what happened today jimin noticed the look of hurt on his face but didn't tried to say further but something is definitely off he knows.

"Okay then, I'll let you be" Jeongguk says, with a heavy heart and turned to leave from there.
