The phone screen shows 12:15 am taehyung sighed looking at the time it's been so long since he's trying to sleep but the grumbling in his stomach is not helping and he's already so embarrassed to face the other that now he can't ask him if he's hungry because he himself is.
So after tossing and turning around for half an hour more he can't take it anymore and decided to go down stairs and looks for something to eat, when he entered the kitchen and looked around in the cabinet for a quick ramen because he's too exhausted to think any other things to eat, and what's better than a ramen when you're too hungry so it's a best option.
Taehyung quickly fill the water in the pot before placing it on the stove after finding thankfully his favorite flavored ramen he boiled the noodles and added the spices in the steamy pot, the aroma fills the kitchen soon making his stomach grumble more
"Just few more minutes tae" He said to himself checking the pot time to time to know if the noodles are properly coocked.
And after he got satisfied with his cooking he took out a bowl from the container but stopped in the middle and said to himself"should I ask him to eat he must be hungry too.....but no what if he's sleeping....I don't wanna disturb him he already did so much for me"
So he served himself and went to the dining table and placed the bowl there and took a seat and when he took his first bite, he closed his eyes humming at the taste a look of satisfaction displays on his face not knowing that there is someone watching him with a fond smile on his face.

Well jeongguk didn't seem to get an ounce of sleep and when he felt like that there's no way that he's going to get sleep anytime soon so he decided to make himself a cup of coffee and went down stairs but he got shocked when he saw a faint light coming from the kitchen side, he thought maybe someone invaded their home so with that in mind he took hurried steps and he was just about to shout when he saw taehyung looking for something in the cabinet so he hide himself behind the pillar that was not so far away from the kitchen blocking himself from the other's view he was just curious that's it, it's not like his heart is telling him to just look at the other as much as possible because he's not going to be here tomorrow and they don't know where time will take them or who knows maybe this is going to be the last time that he's watching him from this close.
So jeongguk just wanted to savour as much as possible the memories of younger with him no matter what happens tomorrow it's all about right this moment.
He watched how he found a ramen packet and was talking to himself, he cursed himself for not asking the other if he's hungry but a chuckle left from his lips when he saw how the younger contemplated whether to ask him to eat or not and at last decided to eat by himself.
It all felt unreal, too good to be true but it is true the warmth of taehyung's presence filled his heart with contentment, he turned around leaving with a smile still adorning his features coffee long forgotten.

"Now what should I do, I've already eaten still couldn't able to sleep" Taehyung sighed turning towards to his side one again.
He took his phone from the nightstand to look at the time and it shows 2:25 am he thought of scrolling through his Instagram but to his dismay there's no network due to this heavy rain.
He got up from the bed and went towards the window looking outside, the rain is crashing on the ground very heavily, and it didn't seem like its going to stop any time soon and in a mere second, lightning strikes making him flinch so he covered the window with curtains making the room darker than before, he's sure he's not getting sleep anytime soon so he decided to do that thing that he thought maybe he would never do that but sometimes we don't have control on our actions.
He went outside of his own room taking steps towards the olders room, he stood there for a minute contemplating whether to just go back or go inside well he goes for the second option, he put his hand on the door knob twisting it slightly and it opened, he quietly opened the door making sure to close it behind.
He took slow steps towards the king size bed in the middle of the room, it was lightly dim making the insides more visible but that was his least concern right now.
He didn't like to keep the lights on
He shakes off his thought and moves towards the bed, he makes sure to not make any kind of noise before he stands right against it, he slowly takes a seat on the edge of the bed looking at how the older is sleeping on his back, his face turned towards his side his features still prominent in the dim light, taehyung couldn't help but trace the bridge of the raven hair male boy's nose with his index finger, he caresses the cheek of the alpha softly not wanting him to wake up from his slumber and then the mole under his lower lip he remember telling the male that this mole is one of his favorite, he was just about to touch the olders lips when he retreats his hands back as if it'll burn the said male.
He couldn't help but get the flashbacks of the past, how he destroyed everything with his own hands, he didn't have any rights to touch the male in front of him but he couldn't help it, it's been years since he saw him from this close and he's sure this could be the last chance of watching him up this close, he just wanted to live in that moment.
He holds the olders hands in his grasp, Interlacing their fingers together and smiling at how they fitted perfectly together.
"I know I'm so stupid to make you suffer without even any fault" He couldn't help but let out, a lump forming in his throat.
"I destroyed our beautiful world with my own hands, how can I be so cruel, you suffered for the mistakes that you didn't even committed it's all my fault" A sob left his lips, which he tried to stop.
"Because of my recklessness, I lost what's the most precious to me, you" And now the tears were streaming down his face making their way on their interlaced fingers.
"I'm sorry kookie, I'm so sorry I know there's no apology for what I had done but still, trust me it's eating me inside, when I left I didn't realize how big of a mistake I'm committing, I couldn't even forget you for a single second, you were always there in my mind, my thoughts twenty four seven,"
"I'm sorry for hurting you so badly, I'm sorry for punishing you for loving me but above all I'm sorry for leaving you and breaking you to the core that it seems impossible to make things like how they were before"
"But I love you, I love you so much that it hurts not to be around you, not to touch you and not to feel your warmth it's all hurts but I know I deserves it all, I deserve every ounce of pain cause I know I'm the one who is responsible after all" Taehyung sniffed, biting back the sob again.
"I don't have courage to confess all this in front of you and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do that but I hope you'll find your happiness, and you'll always be happy" Taehyung freed his hand from his grasp, already missing the warmth.
He got up, turning to leave but he doesn't know what took over him he turned around and leaned down to place a soft kiss on jeongguk's forehead, his lips lingering there for sometime before he retreats back and turned around to leave not even glancing back for once because if he could have turned around he would have seen---
