The director gave me a long, hard stare. "I want you to lead the next mission."
I blinked from the inside of my helmet. "Wh-what do you mean?"
"I want you to plan the mission to retrieve this." The screen behind him lit up and something similar to the sarcophagus appeared on the screen. "This is what we are currently calling 'Sarcophagus B'. Intel has told us that it holds weapons that could lead to mass destruction."
I kept a really sarcastic remark in my mind. "So why me, if it's so dangerous? Shouldn't you or the counselor plan this?"
"Minnesota, you have proven that you are smart enough to plan something this big. That is why we are entrusting you to this task. Your planning shall begin once you leave this room. Now leave." I tried to ask more questions, but I was cut off. "Now, Minnesota."
"Alright. Th-thank you for this honor, Director." I told him as I exited.
