(Washington's POV)
Gone. Just like the wind back on earth. There one second, gone the next.

I miss her already. What if she doesn't come back? Ever? I was the first to leave the bay. I can't stand looking at where Sota was a few seconds ago.

(Sota's POV)
I followed Hargrove to the medical area. Surprisingly, I only fell twice. As they patches me up, I was getting questioned.

"Are you sure it was Project Freelancer?"

"Yes, I was one of their own soldiers."

"Who did this to you?"

Here is where I took my lies to the next level. "Sota. Minnesota. I told him to stop, but the shots kept coming. I... I want to kill him, Chairman. I want to feel his life fade away. As he dies, I want him to know that I got my revenge." I mustered all the hatred I could through the pain.

"I see," was all he said.

"Let me join you, Chairman. Let me get healed and I'll show you what I can do." I pleaded.

Hargrove thought for a moment. "Fine. If I am not pleased we leave you in space."

"You won't be sorry." I promised. Oh, but yet he would in the end.

I got ready in the training room. They have supplies here that heal wounds fast.

"Begin."

I got my assault rifle out. I heard a target pop up and immediately shot it. That's how that part went. Hand to hand combat was different.

I was put up against a skilled person. Needless to say, bruises popped up, but there were more on him. I got smoked HARD with a jab to the head.

Everything else was easy.

I sat in the room they gave me boredly. Then, a door opened and I saw Hargrove walk in.

"Yes, Chairman?"

"How willing are you to join us to kill that Minnesota guy? Hargrove stared at the wall.

"Very, sir." I replied

"You have been accepted. Your skills are very extraordinary and your knowledge of the Freelancers will help us."

"Thank you, sir," I replied.

"Omicron?" I whispered nervously.

"Sota?" came the reply.

"Time to make a message."

"Alright, recording."

"Hey guys, Sota reporting in. Chairman Hargrove has accepted me. More updates to come. Send it, Omicron."

"Sending... Offline again?"

I sighed. "Yeah. And this time it's going to be a while."
