 Flashback

-5 years old-

"Hi, my name is Y/n L/n," Y/n tells a boy with indigo hair.

"Hi Y/n, my name is Hitoshi Shinso," the young boy says.

"It's nice to meet you! Want to be friends?" Y/n asks. Shinso nods.

"Awesome! Let's play together then!" Y/n says with a bright smile.

-8 years old-

"Toshi! Guess what!" Y/n yells running to his best friend.

"What is it Y/n?" Shinso asks.

"I got the newest Erasure Head backpack!" Y/n says holding up the bag.

"Lucky! When we went they were all sold out!" Shinso says.

"Well, it's good that this one is for you!" Y/n says pulling a matching backpack out from behind his back.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you Y/n!" Shinso says and Y/n nods happily.

-12 years old-

"Toshi, Toshi, Toshi! It's horrible! The most horrible thing is happening!" Y/n says running to his best friend in front of the middle school gates.

"Whoa, Y/n, calm down! What's wrong, what's happening?" Shinso asks.

"My mom got a job offer in America... I- I'm moving..." Y/n says as tears stream down his face.

"What? But we are supposed to go to UA together!" Shinso says.

"I know," Y/n says looking at his best friend.

"It'll be okay! We will see each other again, I know it!" Shinso says.

"Yeah but it won't be at UA," Y/n says and Shinso nods.

"I know, but we will become heroes together! We will be the best underground heroes ever! Just like Erasure Head is" Shinso says and Y/n nods.

"Okay, we can do this, I know it," Y/n says and Shinso nods.

"Y/n promise me you'll see me the day you get back to Japan," Shisno says while hugging the other boy.

"I promise! You'll be my first stop" Y/n says with a smile.

"Okay boys, Y/n, it's time to go," Y/n's mom says, and Y/n nods. The two boys hug one more time before separating for the foreseeable future. 

-16 years old-

"Y/n, your father and I need to tell you something," Y/n's mom says calling the boy from the bottom of the stairs.

"Coming!" Y/n says as he leaves his room and walks to the stairs. He walks down them and follows his mom into the living room. "What's up?"

"Your mother is being transferred," Y/n's father says.

"Where to now?" Y/n asks.

"We are going back to Japan, and I am staying there as the head of my department," Y/n's mom says.

"Wait? No more moving?" Y/n asks stunned.

"No more moving," Y/n's dad says and Y/n jumps up excitedly.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get me to Toshi!" Y/n says smiling wide.

The family starts to pack and faster than Y/n ever expected he was back in Japan.
