A young teen girl opens her eyes, sitting in the bed she was once asleep in. She looks around and sees cards, flowers, and stuffed animals everywhere. She sighed as she stood up and walked over to the window seat. She grabs the laptop that rests on the table next to the seat. Getting comfortable, she opens the laptop and starts watching random videos. She sighed again, looking bored and over being in the room. A knock startled her, causing her to look over to the door.

"Come on in," she calls out, just as the door opens.

"Hello, Y/n," a male says, walking in.

"Hello, Nurse Jackson, how are you?" Y/n asks as she smiles at the nurse.

"I'm doing well. How are you today?" He asks as he walks over to take the girl's vitals.

"Bored, but that's normal," Y/n says, laughing softly.

"I heard a group of hero kids around your age is coming to the hospital for medical training, so they know the basics of first aid. Maybe you can talk to some of them. The schedule said they will be meeting some patients," Nurse Jackson says.

"Seriously?" Y/n asks excitedly.

"Very," Nurse Jackson says.

"This will be a good day," Y/n says, smiling widely.

"I knew you'd like that news," Nurse Jackson says. "Okay, don't forget to order breakfast," He says.

"Oh, yeah... thanks," Y/n says, laughing softly.

"You're welcome," Nurse Jackson says before leaving.

It was 10 a.m. when Y/n finished her breakfast. She finds herself playing a video game on her laptop, feeling happy. A knock on the door startles her, causing her to pause the game and stand up.

"Who is it?" Y/n calls out.

"It's Dr. Yuki with some students from UA. May we come in?" Dr. Yuki, Y/n's favorite of the bunch that see her daily, says.

"Sure, do I need a mask?" Y/n asks.

"Yes," He responds. Y/n grabs one of the many masks in the room and puts it on.

"You may enter," Y/n says. The door opens, revealing a group of five UA students.

"Welcome to my room," Y/n says, her eyes happy.

"This is Y/n L/n, a long-term patient here at Musutafu General. Feel free to converse," Dr. Yuki says as he sits down in the chair by the door.

"You can ask pretty much anything. I'm typically an open book," Y/n says, smiling under her mask.

"Why are you here?" A grape-headed boy asks.

"Mineta! You can't just ask that!" A girl with a ponytail scolds the boy.

"Oh, it's okay! I don't mind. My quirk is slowly killing me. The doctors are trying to find a cure, but there's been no luck so far," Y/n says, shrugging.

"Oh... sorry," Mineta said.

"Oh, don't be! I've come to terms with the fact I won't live past eighteen. It was the cards I got dealt. I make due with what I have," Y/n says, smiling.

"You are very optimistic for someone who is in such a bad position. It's admirable," the girl says.

"Thank you. You have to be positive here, or else your days will be filled with sorrow," Y/n says, smiling.

"Hey, you play If And When Fire Starts?" a boy in a mask asks, pointing to Y/n's open laptop.

"Yes! It's my favorite game, and I must say I am pretty good at it," Y/n says her eyes closing slightly with how big her smile was.
