Modern Royal AU, Prince Todoroki X Commoner Reader. Self explanatory but it's quirkless so you know.

Prince Shoto Todoroki. A very sought-after royal. He always seems never to be interested in the princesses. Every royal within a 100-mile radius of their kingdom has tried to woo him and no one has come close to catching his attention. He is a tranquil person. Never really spoke.

Y/n L/n, a simple commoner from the Endeavor kingdom. He helps his family with their bakery when he isn't studying to become a knight. He is pretty well known amongst the commoners for being caring and helpful. The commoner girls love him the most.

"Y/n, please help that customer over there," Y/n's mother asks. The H/l H/c haired boy nods. He walks over to the person in the cloak with a smile.

"Hello, can I help you find anything?" Y/n asks. The person in the cloak jumps startled.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," Y/n says.

"No big deal, um, do you recommend anything specific?" The person asks and Y/n smiles a bright smile.

"Yes, our strawberry shortcake is my personal favorite, and it's not just because it's my recipe," Y/n says with a chuckle.

"I'll take that then," the person says and Y/n nods.

"Coming right up," Y/n says as he walks behind the counter and to the display. He takes out a slice from the strawberry shortcake that sits in it.

"Here you go," Y/n says with a smile.

"Thank you," The person says. Y/n nods and walks back to the book he was reading and taking notes of.

"What are you reading?" The person asks sitting near Y/n. The male smiles and looks at the person.

"Oh, I'm studying to be a knight. I want to fight for our kingdom and protect our rulers" Y/n says and the person nods.

"What do you think of Prince Shoto?" The person asks and Y/n smiles.

"I don't know him well so I don't have an opinion on him, although I can't deny he is handsome," Y/n says shrugging.

"You find another male attractive?" The person asks almost surprised.

"Yeah, I'm not scared of being myself," Y/n explains and the person nods.

"Can we take a walk?" The person asks and Y/n nods.

"Sure, I'm always open to making friends," Y/n says. The person stands and Y/n follows.

"Mother, I am going to take a walk. I'll be back" Y/n says.

"Okay dear, be back before dinner," Y/n's mom says, and Y/n nods.

"Come on," Y/n says. The two walk and chat. Until Y/n sees guards up ahead.

"Oh, the guards are looking for someone, I wonder if one of the princes snuck out again," Y/n says with a chuckle. "I wouldn't be surprised if Natsuo were out and about without their knowledge," Y/n says, and the person laughs. A guard comes towards Y/n and the person.

"Ah, Y/n it is good to see you. Have you seen Prince Shoto anywhere?" The guard Y/n recognizes as Izuku asks.

"I haven't, I'm sorry," Y/n says and Izuku nods.

"Thanks," Izuku says and Y/n nods. He then watches as the guards walk away. 

"It's clear," Y/n says.
