Y/n L/n was once a high-ranking hero. Now? He is a typical civilian. Now you are probably wondering how this came to be, and that is simply because of the incident. What incident, you may ask? Well, the incident that changed the plant hero's life forever. You see, Y/n was the plant hero Thorn; his quirk allowed him to conjure and manipulate plants. His specialty was taking a regular flower stem and turning it into a vine to use as a rope or lasso. As I said, Y/n was one of the best heroes. He was number one in America before everything happened.

It was a rainy spring day, and Y/n was patrolling when he heard a loud alarm ring out. He immediately sprang into action. He rushed over to see what the commotion was, and what he found was three thugs stealing from a jewelry store. Y/n was quick to grab a few flowers that sat nearby and made a lasso. He throws it and captures one of the thieves.

"Shit, Thorn is here!" He yells out, looking back to meet Y/n's eyes. The other two thieves look back at their friend before running off, abandoning their ally.

"Looks like your friends don't care about you. Not surprising to be honest," Y/n says.

"They'll be back, and you'll be dead," the thief says.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that one," Y/n says before pulling the thief towards him.

"Let me go," The man says while struggling.

"The more you squirm, the tighter they get," Y/n says.

"Damn it," the man says. Just then, Y/n sees a knife thrown at the two. He dodges it expertly, looking over to see the two other thieves and a young girl.

"Damn it!" The girl says, annoyed.

"Give him back, and I won't kill you," the girl says.

"Not happening," Y/n says, looking at the girl.

"You're outnumbered, Thorn," The girl says, looking at Y/n with a smirk.

"Nothing I can't handle," Y/n says before tying the first thief up and leaving him to go after the other three.

It was going perfectly. Y/n only had the girl to capture.

"You don't want to do this, Thorn," she says.

"You're so young, it's a pity you turned to the villain's side," Y/n says, looking at her sadly.

"Do not pity me," she says loudly.

"Oh, did I hit a nerve? I'm sorry, sweetheart," Y/n says, his hands behind his back.

"Do not call me that!" The girl stomps her foot onto the ground like a toddler would during a temper tantrum.

"Now, now, let's calm down," Y/n says softly.

"I will kill you!" she says before lunging at Y/n. Y/n predicted this and was quick to dodge and tie the girl up with the vine rope he was making behind his back.

"Nice try," Y/n says before taking his phone out. He pings for police and other heroes to assist him. Shortly after, police and heroes were on the scene, along with some reporters.

"Thorn! Can you answer some questions?" A reporter asks.

"Of course," Thorn says before walking over to the reporter. He is about to answer a question when he feels a pain in his side. He looks down to see a knife.

"Oh my god!" The reporter says as Y/n turns to see the girl smirking at him.

"I told you I would kill you," the girl says, smirking. The next few hours were a blur.
