I walk up to a boy and tap his shoulder.

"Can I help you?" He asks.

"Can we talk? I need to tell you something," I say. He nods looking at his friends.

"I'll be back," He says. They nod and the boy and I walk to an empty hall.

"So..." He says and I take a deep breath.

"I like you... a lot... I was wondering if we could go on a date?" I ask looking at him hopeful.

"Oh um... no, I'm sorry... I don't like you like that..." He says. I look at him shocked and embarrassed.

"Ah, I see... sorry to take up your time," I say before walking away.

The next day my confession to him was all over the school. I dodge and weave the people in the halls. It's not like it's hard, they steer clear of me the second they see me. I look down the hall and see him with some of his friends. I take a deep breath and walk over to him.

"Hey, Takami, what the fuck?" I ask annoyed and hurt.

"What do you want idiot?" One of Keigo's friends says.

"I want to know why our private conversation is the latest gossip off the school," I say shooting the booy a galare.

"Hey, it's not his fault someone overheard you confess to him... besides, you thought just because he was nice to you a couple of times that he'd like you? You're weird," A girl says while snickering.

"And you're a bitch," I say looking at her.

"It was one of you, wasn't it?" I say and they all look at me shocked.

"How'd you come up with that conclusion?" The girl asks.

"Oh, it's simple really. You were the only one around when I asked to talk. I purposefully went to a hall that no one went down. So my guess is, you followed us and told someone who told another, and so on until I was the laughingstock of the school," I say.

"Okay, you caught me, what exactly do you plan on doing? It's not like anyone will listen to the weird boy," the girl says.

"Oh, I don't plan on doing anything, although I will say, you should think of your friend's reputation before retaliating towards someone who rejected you the week before next time," I say. She looks at me shocked and embarrassed.

"I never confessed to you! What are you talking about?" She asks going red.

"You did, I still have the note, should I get it out?" I ask and she pushes me making me fall onto the ground.

"Wow... mature," I simply say while getting up.

"I will ruin you!" She says before walking past me. I shrug and look at the three boys that are left.

"Have a nice day," I say before walking away.

I take a deep breath and walk into the house. The stench of alcohol fills my nose.

"Great, Dad's been drinking again..." I say before walking into the living room. I see him passed out on the couch. I walk past him and to my room. I'm sitting at my desk doing homework when my father yells my name. I sigh before getting up and walking out and into the main room. There stood the girl and her parents.
