Elijah, always quick to take the lead, had already made a decision about the roles he wanted his group members to play in their drama project.

Elijah: Alright, my teammates! I've already decided which role is suitable for everyone.

Elijah: I'll be the Young Prince Joseph...

Elijah: Wyatt, you can be King Seth....

Elijah: Yasmine, you will be Princess Anna from the west...

Elijah: Eva, you can be the nurse of the castle and the narrator of our story...

Elijah: Michael, you can be the Elder Prince Baron...

Wyatt: Cool, I'm lucky I got picked to be the king man...I'll try to act cordial and desperately ill when it's time for him to appear in a scene...

Elijah's decisions were met with general agreement from the group. Wyatt, Eva, and Michael seemed content with the roles they had been assigned and were eager to get started with their project. However, Yasmine, who had been concerned about the lack of input in the decision-making process, couldn't help but voice her frustration once again. She complained about Elijah not consulting anyone about their role preferences beforehand.

Yasmine: Dude, this isn't helping! You haven't asked any of us what roles we would like to act...

Yasmine: You can't just randomly assign us roles without asking us first like you're our teacher instead...

Yasmine: I never said I wanna be Princess Anna.

Eva: Why are you against everything Elijah says? I'm perfectly fine for my role...Besides Princess Anna won't appear till the middle of the story.

Eva: While for me, the nurse is present for most of the scenes before the climax and there's a lot of narration for me to do before the story begins.

Eva: So you should be happy with your role. You and Elijah are the main characters in this story.

Elijah, ever mischievous, couldn't resist winking at Yasmine with a playful glint in his eye.

Elijah: He teased her. You heard that right, Angel... You and I will make this story mind-blowing and the best show, standing out in front of other stories.

Elijah: Work on smiling and upgrading your dramatic soul.

His words were filled with confidence and enthusiasm, even if they were delivered in a slightly teasing manner.

Yasmine, though frustrated by the situation, recognized that the majority of the group preferred Elijah's ideas and decisions. She reluctantly decided to back down and follow along with the group's choices. While she may not have been entirely happy with her role, Yasmine knew that working together harmoniously would be crucial to their success in making their drama project stand out.

Yasmine: She thought to herself. This is becoming typical of him!

Yasmine: On the inside. I've never been good with group projects, but he's making this a big headache for someone who rarely talks much!

Elijah: On the inside. She's frowning on the outside, but on the inside she can't resist at the fact she'll be falling to my arms in the play!

Elijah: On the inside. I know she's only acting the opposite of how she feels.

When class was finally over, everyone headed towards the area where they all threw their backpacks at. As Yasmine exited drama class, Elijah fell in step beside her, a relaxed and nonchalant expression on his face.

Elijah: No need to walk so fast again from me...Remember we're riding the same bus together in the afternoon?

Yasmine: I don't need a reminder! I'm only walking fast because I wanna make sure I know where our bus is parked out if it's here early...

Elijah: Yeah...sure you are. Ever heard of the fairytale Water of Life? I remembered the time I read it in primary school...

Elijah: I remember the plot by heart...

Yasmine: Uh, huh...Sure you do.

However, once they stepped outside the building, Elijah couldn't resist the temptation to tease Yasmine once more. He quickly came up with some playful excuse or witty remark, keeping up their lighthearted banter.

Elijah: Hmm...I see why you're always irritated other than seeing me shine in your face!

Elijah: Your backpack seems too big and heavy for your shoulders. Want me to carry it for you?

Yasmine: Uhh, no. They're not heavy for me...I'm totally fine carrying them.

Elijah: But you're walking like a donkey. You look like you're about to tip over.

His playful antics continued as he took Yasmine's backpack off her shoulders and placed it onto his own. Simultaneously, he handed his much lighter backpack to Yasmine. Her initial confusion quickly turned into annoyance as she tried to understand his motive behind this unexpected gesture.

Yasmine: You don't want me to carry my backpack, but you want me to carry yours?

Elijah: 'Cause mine is a fluff ball compared to yours, silly! Carrying such a heavy backpack at a small height causes you to appear shorter.

Elijah: Nobody wants back problems as teens, don't they?

Yasmine: She rolled her eyes. Ok then...As if you're not gonna have back problems carrying my "heavy backpack".

But his tease didn't stop there. Without uttering another word, Elijah picked Yasmine up, lifting her off her feet, and proceeded to carry her all the way to their bus. Yasmine was taken by surprise as she protested half-heartedly, but it was clear that Elijah was determined to have his fun.

Yasmine: Elijah, what are you doing? Put me down!

Elijah: Gosh, you barely weigh much...No way I'm gonna put you down.

Elijah: Don't want your clumsy little feet to trip and fall off the wrong end of a road...

His playful and unpredictable nature had once again injected a dose of humor into their day, leaving Yasmine simultaneously bemused and bewildered by his actions. When they were sitting together in the bus, she couldn't help but complain again.

Yasmine: Why did you do that? People were staring at us and laughing!

Elijah: But you clearly enjoyed it. You didn't slap me like last time when I fell on top of you kissing.

Yasmine: I should've slapped you then...

Elijah: He smirked. Well, you didn't. Which means you don't mind the Laughable Zilla carrying the small Angel.

Once Yasmine got home, her thoughts couldn't help but linger on the events of the day, particularly the interactions with Elijah in drama class and the way he had teased her on their way to the bus.

Yasmine: On the inside. Although I was annoyed with his antics, I gotta admit he has a way of pumping me up.

Yasmine: On the inside. I wonder how he'll act as the hero prince of the story. If only I had great acting skills...
