The boys, still curious and in a relaxed mood, didn't stop peppering Spencer with questions. This time they wanted to know both facts and Spencer's personal feelings about the kiss with JJ. Rossi asked, "Spencer, could you please present us with some statistical facts about the average number of kisses in a relationship?" Spencer thought for a moment and replied, "Kissing frequency can vary from couple to couple, but there are studies that indicate that happy couples tend to kiss more often. The average kissing frequency is about 11 times per week." Morgan grinned and said, "Thanks for the info, Dr. Reid. Now for something more personal. How did you feel when you kissed JJ?" Spencer thought for a moment before answering, "It was...unlike anything I've ever experienced before. I was nervous, but excited and happy at the same time. It felt like a connection had strengthened between us ." Hotch nodded understandingly and said, "That sounds like a nice experience, Spencer. Sometimes feelings are hard to quantify in statistics." The boys seemed satisfied with Spencer's answers and didn't make fun of him any further. Instead, they seemed to appreciate his honesty and openness. It was an unusual but warm moment among the team that showed that they were not only colleagues but also friends.
