When Torstein got back I saw Athelstan coming.
"ATHELSTAN!!!!" I yelled and started running to him when Erlendur stopped me and I looked at him and he shook his head.
"Look at you." My father said
"Hello Ragnar, Caroline, Horik, and Lagertha." Athelstan said
"It's good to see you." I said
"And I you." He said
"I've missed you very much." I said
"I missed you too Caroline." He said and I smiled
"We came here to talk to King Ecbert." Ragnar said
"Ok let's go." Athelstan said
We got on horses and we followed Athelstan to where King Ecbert was living.
"Erlendur I wonder what this meeting is going to be about?" I said to him.
"I don't know Caroline but we are going to find out soon enough." He said. I rode up to where Athelstan was because I wanted to talk to him.
"So how are you doing?" I asked
"I'm doing good how are you doing?" He asked
"Much better knowing that your alive." I said
"Thank you Caroline." He said
"What happened to your hands?" I asked
"I was crucified and I almost died." He said
"I'm so sorry." I said
"Hey it's ok I'm alive." He said and I nodded.
Time skip to after the meeting
It was night time when we got back to camp. We are leaving tomorrow to go back home and I can't wait to see my brothers again. We just finished eating dinner and I'm really tired.
"Father I'm going to sleep." I said
"Good you'll need the rest." He said and I walked to my tent. I jumped a little.
"Erlendur you sacred me." I said
"Sorry love I just wanted to say goodnight." He said
"Goodnight." I said and fell asleep.
