Caroline's POV
I'm alone and scared and I don't know where I am or where to go. But wait I see a large group of people off in the distance. Lets go see who it is. I walk until I'm a safe distance away from the people. It looks like a decision making thing. The man chained up must be in some sort of trouble because people are screaming "kill him!" I see a beautiful women with long blonde hair and the man standing next to her must be her husband. The women looked at me and I froze I couldn't move. She looked at me and smiled and I smiled back. Soon it was over and the man was sparred. Soon everyone is gone except the women. She walked up to me with a smile on her face.
"What's your name?" She asked
"Caroline what's yours?" I asked
"Lagertha." She said
"That's an nice name." I said
"Thank you and so is yours." She said with a smile.
"Your not going to hurt me?" I asked
"No but will you like to come home with me?" She asked
"I don't know." I said
"I'm not going to hurt you." She said
Ok I'll come." I said and she smiled. She held out her hand for me to take and I took it. We walked down to the village and it was amazing and I smiled. Soon we entered the great hall and it was huge.
"Ragnar I would like you to meet Caroline she is our new daughter." Lagatha said
"What do you mean?" Ragnar asked
"She is living with us from now on." She said
"Well then welcome to the family. This is my son Bjron." He said
"Nice to meet you Bjron" I said
"Nice to meet you too sister." Bjron said and I smiled
"Now go and wash up dinner will be ready soon." Ragnar said
"Ok Lagertha may you help me?" I asked
"Of course." She said and helped me get ready for dinner. Soon I was ready in a beautiful red dress. I smiled.
"You like it?" Lagertha asked
"Love it." I said
"Good come on its time for dinner." She said and I nodded. I walked out behind Lagertha and sat next to her at dinner.
"Why Caroline you look beautiful." Ragnar said
"Thank you. It is ok if I call you father? Lagatha is it ok if I call you mother?" I asked
"Of course it is." Ragnar said
"I would be honored." Lagertha said
"Thank you." I said
"Your welcome." Ragnar said and I smiled. This is going to be a great life.
