Unrequited love

(After the battle of Wano)

Law sat at a bar, nursing a single bottle of booze. He didn't drink often, but after this battle he thinks it was acceptable. His whole body ached and he felt beyond exhausted. He would rest later after he winded down some. This battle had several close calls for everyone involved and there had been some lives lost. He had very nearly lost his own more than once.

Not long into him losing himself in his thoughts, a hand slams down on the bar next to him. He looks up, annoyed, into the eyes of one Eustass Kid. "Well, well. If it isn't Trafalgar drinking at the bar all alone. You look so lonely over here by yourself. I think I will join you." Kid flops down onto the stool next to his.

Law sighs and sets his glass down. "I am not the only one alone here, Eustass-ya. I don't see your crew anywhere."

"That's different, I like to drink alone. You don't come across as the type to drink very often, little loan alone." Kid huffs.

"I don't, but I think I've earned it. I can take care of myself, thank you." Law yawns as his eyes get heavy. He sure was tired. He could no longer keep his eyes open and he fell asleep on the bar as Kid rambled on about his drinking skills.

Kid turns finally, to see his passed out companion. He sighs as he slides off his stool. He didn't even get a drink yet, but maybe he will get lucky tonight. He gently lifted Law into his arms, careful not to wake him as he took him across the street to where he had rented a room.

He gently laid Law down on his bed, removing his hat and shoes. Kid stood over him, admiring the beauty of this raven haired man. He looked so much younger when he was asleep, face relaxed and no scowl to be found. Kid let himself gently caress the sleeping man's face. He wanted Law so bad, just like he wanted Alexis so bad. Maybe he would finally get one of them.

He sighs as he starts to pull his hand away, but stops when Law's hand shot up and grabbed his arm. His eyes were open, glaring at him. "What are you doing?" Kid jerks his hand free.

"I just brought you somewhere to rest. Not safe sleeping at a bar, Trafalgar. Anyone could cause you harm there in such a public setting."

"That the only reason you took me to a room you rented?" Law narrows his eyes. Kid huffs.

"So untrusting. Yes, Trafalgar." He lies.

"I don't believe you. I know you want to stick your dick in everything you find appealing. I won't be the next thing you fuck and toss out the next day. If that's what you planned then you can..." Law was cut off as Kid shoved his lips against his.

Kid pulls back after a moment, Law moves to try to reconnect their lips, taken by surprise by the kiss. "I didn't intend to do that with you. I want you, but I want you for as long as I can have you, not for just one night." His hand cupped Law's face. "You really do something to me, Trafalgar. I can't stop thinking about you. I won't toss you out." He tried to relay his message with his eyes.

Law studied him for a few moments. "Okay."

"What?" Kid couldn't have heard correctly.

"I said okay, Eustass-ya. Get your ears checked. I still don't believe you will be here in the morning, but if you get it out of your system you will leave me alone."

"I won't ever get you out of my system." Kid says, seconds before he throws himself at Law, pinning the smaller man to the bed as he kissed him senseless.

Law gasps in shock before relaxing into the kiss as Kid thoroughly devoured him. Kid's callused hand slid under his shirt to caress his stomach and chest. Law felt himself harden in his pants as Kid breaks the kiss to start sucking at his neck. The raven haired man groans at how good it felt.
