I knew exactly where I wanted to go. And I smiled as I drove out onto the highway, on my way towards my destination.
I parked in the parking lot and got out of the car quickly. I locked it as I sped walked through the doors of the club.
I gave a nod to the bartender and nodded back to greet me. I quickly got up to the small stage and quickly plugged my phone into the speakers. I then walked up to the microphone and grabbed it off the stand and spoke into it.
"Hey, how's it going?" I said to everyone in the room. They all cheered and clapped to respond. I chuckled and gave them a smile.
It was then I saw him.
He was sitting at the bar looking down at the bar until he turned his head up towards me, I gazed into his eyes mesmerized. They were the most beautiful shade of a hazel brown. I noticed many of his features. His shiny, black, messy hair, going everywhere on his head, a smooth but sharp jawline, he looked broad and strong, his black shirt a bit too tight around his arms as his long sleeves covered his wrists. He was gazing into my eyes but I shook my head suddenly and spoke again into the microphone.
"How do we feel about... Britney Spears?" I asked everyone in the room and they cheered to agree with me. I smirked and quickly grabbed my phone to play the audio track. I set it down and waited for the music to start, and once it did, I felt so alive.
"Baby can't you see, I'm calling? A guy like you, should wear a warning. It's dangerous, I'm falling." I sang, moving my body to the music as if the music had taken control over my body, my mind, my soul. And it felt amazing.
"There's no escape, I can't wait. I need a hit baby, give me it. You're dangerous, I'm loving it..." I smirked as I let the words leave my mouth.
"Too high, can't come down... Losing my head, spinnin' 'round and 'round.. Do you feel me now?"
It went silent, and then, I put my heart into it,
"With a taste of your lips, I'm on a ride! You're toxic, I'm slippin' under! With a taste of a poison paradise! I'm addicted to you, Don't you know that you're toxic? And I love what you do, Don't you know that you're toxic?"
I then turned around and fell backwards into the audience as they caught me. I continued to sing as they surfed me across the room. I stopped and dipped my head down to see him again. My free hand reached out towards him as we stared into each other's eyes. I get a sudden feeling of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. I have never felt that before.
I was spun around before I was set down on the bar counter, and continued the song.
"With a taste of your lips I'm on a ride, your toxic, I'm slippin' under, with a taste of a poison paradise, I'm addicted to you, don't you know that you're toxic?" I sang as the song ended. I was out of breath and breathing heavily as the whole room was screaming and cheering and clapped. They were cheering for me. The only ones so far who appreciate my music. I looked up at everyone in the room and cheered with them.
The rest of the night went on, and it was amazing.
Someone helped me off of the bar counter and I almost tripped and fell losing my balance, as I expected I would hit the floor, I never did. There was a hand around my waist holding me up so I didn't fall. It was him, the guy. I smiled and chuckled at him.
"Thanks." I said to him.
He nodded but we stayed in the same position.
Our faces were so close, I could feel his breath on my face. His eyes went to my lips and my eyes went to mine. But I stood back up and took a step backwards.
I looked at the bartender and said, "Hey Todd, can I have a Stella?" I asked him. He nodded and went to get me a glass.
I looked back to the guy and he was still looking at me, but he was smiling at me.
"So, you come here often?" I asked him as I pulled out a stool next to him and took a seat. He chuckled at my question before speaking, and oh my god his voice.
"Sometimes, you sing often?" He asked me.
I chuckled in return before nodding.
There's something about him that just made me feel comfortable around him.
We started talking, and our conversations were nonstop. I kind of enjoyed his company.
After about 3 beers, I was a little drunk. But at around 3 AM I felt like I should head home. But I didn't, I stayed with him. The place was empty at this point.
I was about to get up but I was a little wobbly. I stumbled over to him and our faces were even closer this time. But we didn't pull away at all. Instead we got closer, and closer. His lips felt like a magnet to mine because our lips pressed against each other, into a soft, passionate kiss.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as he put a hand on my waste and one on the back of my head. My hand was holding onto his head, grasping his short hair between my fingers.
I felt his tongue enter through my lips and I didn't care. If anything, this kiss felt right.
He felt right. Like I had waited my whole life for him. For his lips against mine, for his hands around me, for his passion, his embrace. And I knew I wanted it. And I could tell, he did as well...
