I can't see
In the dark
I feel
Like I'm never enough
Final breath
Last heartbeat
As I hold you close
Screaming your name
But I was too late
You gave your whole life
To someone who wasn't worth it all
You gave your everything
To someone who had a broken heart
I hide from the light
Bleeding from my scars
All alone and Left behind
Letter sent to you
Poems and love songs
You were my only muse
Seemed so right
But it all when wrong
You gave your whole life
To someone who wasn't worth it all
You gave your everything
To someone who had a broken heart
I hide from the light
Bleeding from my scars
All alone and Left behind
Knew the right things
To say when I cried
Killed my soul
When you said goodbye
Fought the war
Lost the fight
You gave your whole life
To someone who wasn't worth it all
You gave your everything
To someone who had a broken heart
Hiding from the light
Bleeding from my scars
All alone and Left behind
Now I'm
All alone
And I'm
Left behind
I sang with my heart, tears dripping from my eyes. I played the piano in the room, so full of emotion.
I didn't know I had anymore tears left to cry at this point. But my heart is proving me wrong.
I played the final notes of the song and it came to an end. I looked down at my fingers, trembling on the keys, and let out a sigh.
Suddenly, I heard a whisper come from behind me, "Wow..." The whispering voice said.
My head bolted towards the door from where I heard the person whisper and I saw Joseph standing at the doorway, with three people surrounding him, staring in shock.
There were two girls and one guy standing with Joseph.
A girl standing on his left had her hands covering her mouth. She had long, and I mean long, dark, black hair tied into two braids that go around her shoulders. She had curtain bangs in her face. Her grayish brownish eyes were tearing up as she stared. She was wearing a cropped top tight around her chest but letting the shape of her boobs show. It was a black top and had loose short sleeves and said "BITCH FUCK OFF" written in pink graphic letters. She was wearing high waist blue jeans and had a lot of rings on her fingers. Her black combat boots sat on the floor holding her up as she stood in the doorway. She had pale white skin, similar to my skin tone. She had a couple of black hairbands on her wrist. She looked to be maybe 5'4 or 5'5, at least a little taller than I am.
The girl on Joseph's other side was definitely tall. She was taller than Joseph. She had a silver-white-ish blondish hair color as it was tied into a ponytail and it looked long. With it pulled up like that it maybe went down to her rib area. She had messy bangs slightly covering her eyes. Sharp, very sharp eyeliner and very dark brown eyes. She had very tanned skin. She wore a maroon colored t-shirt that would be like a tent on me, ripped up Jean shorts and she was barefoot. She had tattoos on her arms that looked like skulls, roses, vines, and I couldn't make out what else there was. She had her arms crossed over her chest and she looked slightly surprised and amused at the same time.
The guy stood behind black-haired girl. He had a whiteish-blondish hair, very messy, and cut mostly short into a mullet but leaving a noticeable strand of hair that went over his shoulder. He had very blue eyes, kind of unhuman like but they were gorgeous. A black t-shirt that had something on it but I couldn't quite tell what it was. He had some tattoos showing from underneath the collar of his shirt and slightly being revealed on his neck. All I could see were tree branches and birds flying off of it. He was taller than the blonde girl and slightly taller than Joseph. He looked so much in shock as he stood there frozen with his mouth wide open.
"Uhm Hi.." I mumbled as I awkwardly looked at them. I carefully got up from the bench in front of the piano and stood up looking a lot more awkward than I normally would be.
Joseph was looking at me, smiling. The other people walked in the room exclaiming and talking at the same time. They got closer to me and surrounded me as I heard a lot of noise.
Joseph walked in and got through them and stood behind me, he put his arms over my shoulders and held me close to his body. They stopped talking when he did this. My cheeks blushed pink as he did.
"Guys this is Jade." He introduced me to them.
