Looking in the mirror, I could already feel the nervousness growing as the seconds are growing closer to my moment to walk out there to my groom. I take a deep breath and look at my speech as the paper is being held tightly between my fingers, the pressure so much on my thumbs against my pointer finger that I could see the outer parts of my skin surrounding my nail turning white, my acrylics crumpling the paper in the grip I have it in. I took in a deep breath and exhaled.
I opened my mouth to go through the words I wrote down once more but I was interrupted by Melody and Riley standing at the doorway, Riley's hand pushing the door open. I smiled to them and was about to speak but I was interrupted by Florian being pushed in by Astrid. She stood outside the doorway grinning as Melody and Riley both giggled. Florian looked at me in awe, as he was seeing his only sister in her wedding gown for the first time...
He smiled to me proudly and walked over to me and held my cheeks in his hands, "Let's go, it's time to get your ass married before I kill the guy." He whispers.
I chuckle and give him a nod.
And then the next moments of mine, I could only keep my eyes on Joseph as our song plays instead of the traditional "Here Comes The Bride" our song played, "A Thousand Years" and this was the song he and I couldn't help but fall in love with each other all over again, every single time it plays. With all eyes on me, I never took my gaze off Joseph, as he looked as handsome as ever. My groom, my husband.
My dress dragged behind my feet as I walked. This was a dress that he couldn't help but have a need to see me in, and he was seeing it for the first time.
My white bodice, had no sleeves or collar on my shoulders and neck, but cuffed and little laced ruffles went around my biceps were the long, white sleeves, puffy and princess like, see through, as they went down to my wrists, the cuffs closing them in to give off that enchanting look I so very much desired for. My white corset was laced, padded around my breasts, ruffles lining up the top of it, and little white flowers lining my waist area and going around the top rim of the skirt. The skirt was long and trailed just below my feet to give off that train affect. It was a white laced, glittery long skirt that dragged along the floor. My hair done in the most beautiful large braid with white flowers added in in it. I have a hair piece, a crown sitting on my head with this beautiful silver base, white flowers and a forest looking build. Little silver butterflies are spread out on it. I couldn't help but smile at his face. He seemed so mesmerized.
I looked at him, grinning as I stood there and locked eyes with him.
His brown eyes spoke in so many languages, all telling me how much I really just meant to him.
After today, we could go living on with each other with our baby. I didn't care if it wasn't his biologically. A real father is there for his child.
Everyone sits down in their chairs, and it goes silent as we both turn to face our officiator, but my full attention was on Joseph, and I knew damn well his full attention was on me as well.
It was only just moments longer before we were told to say the words, "I do."
The moment "I do" left my lips, there was only him.
We kissed, everyone cheered, and I was officially Jade Loff.
I'm officially his wife. He's my husband.
Nothing could get better than this... right?
