As soon as Derek stops his car, he opens the door to hurriedly start a conversation with Meredith. I exit as well, not wanting to miss out on the drama. 'Maybe I can start a fan club for these two. No, that's creepy.'

I know for a fact that I would be in the lab all day today, as Dr. Bailey texted me earlier to have units of blood ready. Something about a patient that will have a heavy tumor. I don't know the exact details, being that she texted me so early in the morning that I'm pretty sure the gods were still sleeping.

"Crap." Meredith panted.

"Crap?" Derek took offense to Meredith's reaction to him. "Well, I said the same thing when I saw your face this morning." I bullied.

"Shut up."

"Can't talk right now, Daydream. I'm late." she rushed toward the building with Derek yet again, following her like a lost puppy.

"Yeah, that's fine. Derek leave her alone." I said, but he just ignored me.

"Don't we have to talk about Bailey, and what she saw?" He chased after her.

'Bailey saw them? And they dared to still come into work. How stupidly brave. I would rather move in with Nancy than have Bailey on my ass.' I thought as I continued to listen to their conversation.

"I don't need to talk about it. I experienced it. Naked." Meredith added.

"This is getting complicated," Derek replied as they finally entered the hospital.

"As much as I would love to eavesdrop some more, we are running late. And I promised Bailey that I would handle her requested bloodwork. So, bye for now. See you two at lunch or something." I said as I had to haul ass to my lab.

"No one cares," Derek said way too quickly.

"I care. See you later, Daydream." Meredith said sweetly.

"See you later, but of course, my lab is always open for you," I mentioned before turning to my brother. "Not you though, whatever problems you have can wait." I eyed Derek.

"Go away."

"Boys, be nice." Meredith reminded.

"Whatever." We both said.

I was working in my lab still when Bailey came in to check up on the blood that was requested.

"How are we looking, Dr. Shepherd?" Bailey inquired.

"I doubled the units, just in case. Wouldn't hurt to be more prepared."

"That's my kind of thinking." She beamed at the thought of my preparation. "How big is this tumor anyway?" I asked.

"Maybe 50 or so pounds." She replied while inspecting the cleanliness of my lab. "Do you know?" She asked ominously.

"Know what?" I asked sheepishly. 'Am I in trouble? No, I can't be; if I was, she wouldn't have asked that. Did I do something wrong? Why is she looking at me like I made bad grades? Is this what her interns feel like? All the time? God bless them.'

"Y/N!!" I snapped out of my head at her yelling. It's like looking into the eyes of your favorite parental figure as they say the words, "I'm disappointed in you." When I look into her eyes, I know nothing other than shame.

"Know anything about what may be going on between your brother and a certain intern of mine?" She asked raising a brow. This little lady here is so intimidating.

"A mentor and mentee relationship?" I guessed I already know what she was talking about, but I was not going to rat out anyone. Especially behind their backs.
