Fiddling with the key, you unlocked the door. Pulling the heavy bags up onto the counter, you smiled. "Groceries!"

Tapping the door closed with your foot, you began unpacking the food. KoKo had insisted you shouldn't, but they had barely any food in the fridge, and Lloyd healing while he lived off of takeout was not the best idea.

Organizing the food into the fridge, you heard the squeak of Lloyd's door. Rolling your eyes, you heard his footsteps settle into the carpet.

With a slam of the fridge, you whipped around to stare as he dug through the bag like a raccoon. "Looking for something?"

He stood up, looking as innocent as he could. "Maybe.. Hey wait-" He leaned over, trying to see what was in your hand. "Is that- are those peppermint patties?"

Pressing on his chest, you attempted to push him away, holding the box of candy back. Laughing, you continued to hold him back, "They're- they're for a recipe!" You tried to speak between dodging his reach and laughing.

With a sigh, he hung his head in defeat. Walking over to the open counter, he sat on a stool, his fist supporting his chin. "So how was therapy?"

You shrugged, folding the bags up, and sliding the candy into the freezer. "It was alright, Ann still wants to meet you, she thinks she could be able to help."

"Maybe I will when I am able to go outside freely. It's almost been a week and I'm still not allowed to go out of the apartment alone. I'm tired of being babysat." Lloyd groaned, dramatically spreading his arms across the counter.

Grabbing the Ziploc out of a cabinet, you placed a small square onto a scale, making sure it was half a gram. Taking a spoon and the bowl, you poured hot water onto the crinkled skin.

Stirring it around for a second, you handed the bowl to Lloyd. "Maybe if you could make your own medicine, Wu would trust you on your own. You know he's still kind of hurt from you not telling him about you being sick."

He sighed, tracing his finger around the rim of the bowl. "I know. But he knows I did it for good reason. Why can't he trust me?"

Sitting down across from him, you watched the swirling red liquid. "You and Wu are really similar. You both keep secrets for the better of others. But you both are also hypocrites in that area. You want a pass around keeping secrets by saying it's for the best." Reaching out, you brushed the side of his hand. "Now drink that quick. I don't need Wu on my ass for being a minute later than he wants."

Chuckling, he shook his head as he slowly sipped the medicine. Throwing the empty bowl to the counter, he winced as if he had just taken a shot. "You know, I think the taste is starting to grow on me- fuck- no. Nevermind. I forgot the aftertaste."

Rolling your eyes, you scoffed. "You're ridiculous."

"Ridiculously cool?" He smirked, leaning an arm on the counter.

Glancing at your notifications, you shook your head. "More like ridiculously stupid... Hey, do you wanna try that recipe I found now?"

Raising his eyebrows, he glanced around. "I'm always up for experiments."

Getting the box mix out, you found the water, oil, and eggs as well. Putting it on the counter, you sighed. "Could you grab the hand mixer?"

Lloyd nodded, and began digging through the utility draw. While he did that, you were gonna try grabbing a bowl.
