Opening your eyes, you felt only burning behind them. Hadn't you drowned? Taking in your surroundings, you were only more confused.
You stood on a thin layer of water, stars reflecting in the endless sea. Only a vague line in the distance showed where the sky and sea touched. Was this the afterlife? Gosh, that was dramatic.
Glancing down at yourself, you hummed at the vague glow around your body. Could this be a vision? What would you have a vision of after you drowned though?
Hello.
Eyes widening, you turned around to face the voice. Your heart stopped as you focused on the person in front of you. Nya. She was.. normal. She wasn't translucent and blue, but just.. her.
Opening your mouth to speak, nothing came out. You could not speak here.
It's been hard to find the time to talk, I've tried leaving messages.
She had? How- how was she even here? What messages? You tilted your head, trying to convey your confusion.
Ah, I suppose you did not understand. Did you not notice the lack of water? Or the water I left in various places?
Furring your brow, you thought about it. Lack of water?.. oh. The low water pressure was caused by Nya. Arin slipping in that puddle was caused by Nya.
She had been trying to reach out. But everyone did not notice, they assumed she was gone. You had all been too distracted by mourning you didn't look right in front of you.
You looked up at the sky, wondering where this even was.. because your visions were usually in real life, or in a black void. Stars and water were new.
This is the mind of the ocean. Where my conscious has been sleeping for all these years. Something caused me to awaken. I have been waiting for so long for someone to find me.
Listening to her, you frowned. What had happened? Actually- that was a stupid question. Of course it was the Merge. It probably disrupted the sea in Ninjago when the other realms combined.
How could you bring her back though?
I am the sea.
Yeah, you knew that already, Nya was the sea, blah blah blah. But how did you get her ba-
And the sea must be cleared from me.
Oh. How did you do that...?
Take it. Take the sea from me. Take it.
You had to take the sea- take the water from the Water Ninja. Okay, that was reasonable.. now how did you take her powers away?
Take it.
Take it.
Okay yeah, you knew that! You had to figure out how thou-

The light burned your eyes as you began hysterically coughing up water. Your throat burned, your ribs felt bruised.
Lloyd sat above you, one hand tilting your head to the side, the other still resting over your lungs. "Fuck Y/n-" he mumbled, lowering his head to rest it on your chest.
Gagging as you finished spitting up water, you took deep breaths, trying to control your heart rate. You lifted a hand up to his back, rubbing it gently as you noticed movement up the hill.
Sora, Kai, and Arin were all rushing down the steep hill towards you both. Groaning as you sat up, you sighed as they all came closer.
Lloyd placed a hand behind your back, steadying you. "She's alive, take a breath." He stated first, watching as everyone opened their mouths to talk all at once. "Got stuck in the mech, and couldn't swim up in time." Turning to you, he furred his brow, studying your face. "You- you are okay, right?"
