"Boys! What's wrong?!"

A muffled voice belonging to a female was heard, and a rustle of bushes being passed through, Namjoon's and Seokjin's mothers appearing in front of the men, carrying Jungkook and Kai respectively.

Their concerned eyes fell on a sniffling Seokjin being supported by Namjoon, and Yoongi laying motionless in Hoseok's, every other male looking a little pale and also very worried. Taehyung and Jimin immediately took their nephews from the two women to let them catch their breath.

"We heard that that Choi tried to take away an omega pup from us," Omega Kim said slowly, turning to her mate for an explanation. A troubled feeling had been bubbling in her chest as soon as she heard of her ex mate's appearance.

"He returned the pup and left," Beta Kim told her, reaching out to hold her gently. "He threatened to harm us and take away Jin."

"What?!" Omega Kim sharply looked around at her frightened pup, immediately running over to him with her mate following her. "Jinnie, my sweet pup. Are you okay?"

Seokjin sniffed but couldn't find an answer to give, so he shook his head, hiding his face further in Namjoon's chest. He felt so sick and worried and tired. He wanted to leave and hide away from everyone, and yet he wanted them by his side at the same time. He was so, so tired of everything.

"Dada hwut?" Jungkook whimpered, his big doe eyes becoming watery as he looked at Jimin, who felt his heart clench painfully at the sight.

"No, my dear child," the alpha cooed as he bounced the toddler in his arms, nobody else having heard the tiny voice of the pup in all the tension and confusion. "Daddy's fine. A bad alpha just scared him. It's okay. Appa will make him okay again."

"Mweanie man," Jungkook pouted with a scowl, looking over at his grandparents, whom his omega father was holding onto. "Koo angwy."

"Me too, pup, me too." Jimin smooched the pup and made him whine. "Come on, I'll take you home. Appa and daddy will come later on, I promise."

"Kissy," Jungkook mumbled sadly, having counted on at least kissing his fathers goodbye for now.

"Child, they'll come back very soon. Be a good pup and listen to Samchon Minnie. I'll give you all the banana milk you want when you get home."

Jungkook's expression brightened immediately. "Pinky pwomise?"

Jimin chuckled, connecting his little finger with the pup's smaller one. "Yes, I pinky promise."

He walked over to his mate, who was rocking Kai in his arms and trying to distract him from his parents, who weren't in any state to pay him attention as usual, while helping Hoseok round up all their fighters to lead them away to another side of the border to guard. The Beta was distracted with worry over his omega, who'd been forced to submit in such a brutal way.

"Hyung, it's okay," Taehyung assured, looking sadly at Yoongi, who was being piggyback rode by Hoseok. "He'll snap out of it sooner or later."

"Tae, let's take Hobi and Yoongi hyung home," Jimin spoke. "Our elders can take care of Jinnie hyung. Our presence could be stressing him out for all you know. In such a vulnerable state, I'm sure he wants to be alone with Joon hyung now. The sooner we leave, the better."
