Hoseok and Jimin stood across each other by their lockers, determined expressions on their faces.
Their serious aura was even scaring off those around them.
"Today's the day," Hoseok finally spoke in a crispy voice.
Jimin nodded grimly, folding his arms. "The big, important day."
A second passed as they stared at one another, and then two... Three, four, five, six... Seven. Then eight.
Hoseok let out a long sigh, breaking the continuation of the tension-filled silence.
"So, let's rehearse one more time. Jimin, you go first," he said in a robotic voice. It was as if he hadn't had enough sleep last night.
"Wha- why me?!" Jimin said in a high-pitched voice, being caught off-guard.
"You do realize that if we don't get this done by today, there would be no more chances for us?" Hoseok snapped, almost jittery with nervousness. "We've been pining for long enough.
We need to find out within today whether any of us have a chance or not... Whether this thing has a future or not."
"Fine." Jimin pouted, knowing that the older male was right. "But what if we get rejected? I mean... He's so perfect! Why'd he like someone like me, or a scaredy cat like you, hyung? Wahhhhhhh!"
"That's why we need to get a clear answer, and then we move on."
Man, I'm saying this like it's a piece of cake... But I don't think it'd be better to end up like Jin hyung when Tae announced his relationship two months ago...
Today was the day of judgement for Hoseok and Jimin, in other words, when they'd finally disclose their feelings for Yoongi.
They'd run after him for ages, and been friends with him. At this point, where they were not very close to the ravenette, but not distant from him at all, it was now the safest to ask him out. It'd hurt less if they got rejected that way, in the two males' opinion.
"Jimin... I'm waiting to hear from you," Hoseok presently stared at a blushing Jimin, who was fidgeting and looking around to make sure that nobody would hear the speech he'd ready to convey to Yoongi.
