HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY|| SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH
"Happy Birthday to mi wash belly" Mommy greets, walking to my room with a cake lit with candles and Daddy behind her with a bright smile.
"Make a wish princess" he says once they were closer and I clasp my hands to make a wish before blowing out the candles.
"Happy Birthday princess" Daddy cheered and I thanked him and Mommy.
Well, it's official I'm now 18 and while I should be happy for another year, my mind was plagued with negative thoughts but nevertheless as the clock touched twelve this morning mi thank God for his many blessings.
"This is from me and your father" Mommy says, putting the gift box on the bed in front of me and I smile, opening it.

Getting excited at the pandora bracelets, I hugged my parents to show them how grateful I was.
I've been asking for one since the beginning of the year and I was eventually going to buy myself one but here they've blessed me with not one but three.
"Know yuh been a say you want one suh yuh father and I thought we'd surprise you" Mommy tells me and I thank them, slipping one of the bracelets on.
"Anyways mi ago carry the cake downstairs and when you ready you can come for it" Mommy says leaving with the cake and we watched her leave the room.
Daddy walks over to my door close the door before turning to me and asks, "Am I going to meet your boyfriend today?"
Shit! I totally forgot about that, I was so busy thinking about my being a mother mi never remember a thing.
"He's supposed to pick me up later to take me out so you can meet him then" I tell him and he nods with a small smile.
"Okay princess, I'll leave you to it then" he tells me and I nod watching him leave the room.
Grabbing my phone off the nightstand, I quickly sent a text to Azai to let him know he would be meeting Daddy today.
Him, Avi and the rest of the gang had already wished me a happy birthday from after 12 and I was even surprised to get a call from Mr. Nasir wishing me a happy birthday as well.
