"And we are here."

The group stopped in their tracks, eyes wide as they took in the massive mansion standing before them.

Jin's mouth fell open in disbelief. "What the hell… You live here? In this huge mansion? In the middle of the forest?"

The house was enormous, towering over them with its dark walls covered in creeping ivy. The windows were tall and shadowed, giving the eerie impression that something—or someone—was watching from inside. The entire place looked like it had been pulled straight out of a horror movie.

Jin shuddered. "It looks like a haunted house…"

Jimin swallowed hard. He wasn’t the only one feeling uneasy. The mansion loomed in the darkness, the storm clouds above making it even more terrifying. His fingers instinctively tightened around Yoongi’s hand.

Yoongi glanced at him but didn’t say anything. Instead, he pushed the front gate open with ease. It creaked loudly, breaking the heavy silence around them.

Jimin and Yoongi still didn’t let go of each other’s hands, not even for a second.

The group hesitated before stepping inside. Each step was slow, cautious.

The air felt different here.

It was silent. Not a normal kind of silence, but an unwanted, unnatural silence.

No wind. No insects. No rustling of trees. Just… nothing.

Hobi and Jin stuck close together, their faces pale with fear. They didn’t even dare to look at their surroundings.

Tae nervously glanced at the size of the mansion and then at Yoongi. "This house is huge. How many people live here?"

Yoongi’s expression remained calm as he answered, "I live alone."

Jimin immediately turned his head to look at him, his eyes searching Yoongi’s face for any sign that he was joking.

Alone? In a house this big?

Yoongi noticed their reactions and let out a small chuckle. "I know what you’re all thinking… but yeah, I’m used to it now."

His voice was steady, but there was something in his eyes—something unreadable.

Yoongi stepped aside and gestured toward the door. "Come inside. You’re all wet, and you’ll catch a cold if you stay out here any longer."

Kai hesitated before stepping forward, his eyes darting around. "Your house… it’s just like the ones in horror films."

The others nodded in agreement. The eerie silence, the dark surroundings, the way the mansion seemed to stand alone in the middle of nowhere—it all felt too unreal.

Yoongi let out a soft laugh, but his amusement faded the moment he looked at Jimin.

Jimin was shivering.

Yoongi frowned slightly, concern flickering in his dark eyes.

Without saying a word, he reached out and gently pulled Jimin closer, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"You’re freezing," Yoongi said quietly, his voice softer than before.

Jimin didn’t respond. He just let himself lean into the warmth, his fingers still gripping Yoongi’s hand tightly.

The others watched the interaction, silently taking note of how easily Jimin let himself be comforted by Yoongi.

Something about this felt… different.

Something about Yoongi felt different.

But for now, they had no choice but to follow him inside.
