"Jimin!"

Jimin’s body tensed.

"Jimin! Chim!"

His heart pounded as he turned around. The moment he saw them, relief washed over him like a wave. His friends were running toward him, their faces filled with panic and worry.

They reached him in seconds, surrounding him, their hands gripping his arms tightly as if afraid he would disappear again.

"Where the hell were you?!" Namjoon demanded, his voice shaking.

"Do you have any idea how scared we were?!" Jin scolded before pulling Jimin into a tight hug, his embrace full of relief and frustration.

Jimin felt a lump in his throat as he looked at his worried friends. He knew they must have been terrified.

He wanted to say something, to apologize, but his mind kept drifting back to the warmth of the hand still holding his own.

He glanced at Yoongi, who was now standing slightly behind him, watching silently with an unreadable expression.

Namjoon rushed toward Jimin, grabbing his shoulders. His eyes were filled with concern. "Are you okay, Jimin?"

Jimin nodded quickly, still a little out of breath. "Yes, Hyung… I’m fine."

Jin stepped forward, his arms crossed, and his face serious. "Then tell me, why did you leave without telling us? Do you know how worried we were?"

Jimin lowered his head, feeling guilty. "I… I heard a weird voice calling me. I don’t even remember how I ended up here… It just happened so fast."

The group exchanged glances, confusion and worry clear on their faces.

Tae’s gaze shifted to the unfamiliar boy standing next to Jimin. His wet clothes clung to his body, and his black hair dripped with rain. He had an unreadable expression, almost as if he was observing them just as much as they were observing him.

Tae narrowed his eyes. "Who is he?"

Everyone turned their attention to the stranger. Yoongi remained silent, his dark eyes calmly watching them.

Jimin took a small step forward. "This is Yoongi. I found him unconscious in the forest."

Jungkook furrowed his brows, his voice skeptical. "Unconscious? What was he doing out here alone?"

Yoongi’s expression didn’t change as he answered. "I… I live here."

Kai blinked, staring at him in disbelief. "You live here? In the middle of the jungle?"

Yoongi nodded simply. "Yes."

The group exchanged looks again. Something about Yoongi didn’t seem normal. Who would live in a place like this? And why was he alone?

Jimin, still shivering from the cold, turned back to Namjoon. "Hyung, why are you all here? Where are our bikes?"

Namjoon let out a deep sigh, running a hand through his drenched hair. "Jimin… the bikes are gone. We don’t know where they went. And the tent? It got blown away by the wind… and a small tornado."

Jimin’s eyes widened in shock. "What?! Then… then where are we supposed to go now? We can’t just stay out here in the rain!"

Yoongi, who had been silently listening, suddenly spoke. His voice was calm, almost too calm. "If you don’t mind… you can come with me. My house is nearby."

Namjoon was quick to shake his head. "No… no, that’s not necessary."

Jin shot him a glare. "Joon, we don’t have another choice."

Yoongi nodded. "There’s enough space for everyone. You can stay as long as you need."

Jimin looked up at him. He was cold, tired, and completely drenched. There really was no other option.

"Okay," Jimin said, his voice quiet. "We’ll go with you."

With that, they began walking through the dark forest.

The rain hadn’t stopped. If anything, it seemed to be getting worse. The wind howled, shaking the trees around them. Their clothes were soaked, sticking uncomfortably to their skin. Each step felt heavy, the ground beneath them turning muddy and slippery.

Jimin wrapped his arms around himself, trying to stop his shivering. His body felt cold, but something else made his heart beat faster.

He glanced to his side, where Yoongi walked silently, his gaze focused ahead. Despite the freezing rain, he looked completely unaffected. His dark hair dripped water down his sharp features, his skin glowing faintly under the moonlight.

Jimin swallowed.

He wasn’t sure why, but his chest felt warm.

Without thinking, he reached out and grabbed Yoongi’s hand.

Yoongi glanced at him, a small, almost amused smirk playing at the corner of his lips. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t let go either. Instead, his grip tightened slightly, as if he didn’t mind Jimin holding on.

The others, who had been watching the exchange, shared quiet smiles.

Hoseok nudged Kai, whispering, "This is the first time I’ve seen Jimin holding someone’s hand like this."

Jimin’s cheeks turned red instantly. He knew they were watching.

Kai chuckled. "Looks like Yoongi is special."

Tae groaned dramatically. "Okay, but seriously. Where is your house? We’ve been walking for so long. It’s cold, dark, and I just want to sleep."

Yoongi finally spoke again. "We’re almost there. Be careful, the ground here is slippery." He turned his head slightly, looking at Jimin. "Hold onto me."

Jimin didn’t hesitate this time. He grabbed onto Yoongi’s arm, holding onto him tightly as they walked.

The others watched, exchanging knowing glances. It was strange how natural this all felt. Yoongi had been a stranger just moments ago, yet here he was, taking care of Jimin like he had known him forever.

Finally, after what felt like hours, they reached an open clearing.

Everyone stopped.

Their eyes widened, their breath hitching.

Standing before them was a massive, dark mansion.

It looked ancient, with tall walls covered in ivy. The windows were large, but no light shone from inside. The front gates were slightly open, as if waiting for them. The entire place gave off an eerie, almost haunting feeling.

Jimin’s heart pounded. "This is… your house?"

Yoongi stepped forward, his face unreadable. He turned to face them, his voice calm as ever.

"And we’re here."
