Jimin nodded, his cheeks flushing. "Yes, I love you."
Yoongi let out a shaky breath before pulling Jimin into the tightest hug, holding him like he never wanted to let go. "I love you too," he whispered against Jimin’s hair.
Overcome with happiness, Yoongi lifted Jimin by the waist and spun him around, laughter and tears mixing together. The others, who had been silently watching, erupted into claps and cheers.
"Congratulations, guys! We’re so happy for you!" everyone cheered, their faces glowing with joy.
"Thank you," Jimin and Yoongi said together, their smiles never fading.
"Finally, Jiminie has a boyfriend now!" Jungkook teased with a playful smirk.
Jimin’s face turned bright red, and he quickly glared at Jungkook.
"Someone is blushing, hmm?" Jin teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Hyung!" Jimin whined, covering his face with his hands.
"Okay, okay, we’ll stop teasing," Jin said with a chuckle. "Now, we’re all heading to our rooms. You two should go too... talk… or whatever." He winked before walking off with the others, leaving Jimin and Yoongi alone.
Yoongi exhaled deeply, turning back to Jimin with teary eyes. "Jimin, I can’t tell you how happy I am. Ten years, Jimin. Ten years I’ve been stuck in this place, thinking I would never escape. And now... I can leave. I can see my mom and dad again." His voice cracked as fresh tears slid down his cheeks.
Jimin reached up and wiped Yoongi’s tears gently. "Don’t cry, Hyung."
Without thinking, he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on Yoongi’s cheek. The moment he pulled away, Yoongi widened his eyes in surprise.
"What… what did you just do?" Yoongi asked, his lips curling into a smirk.
"Nothing…" Jimin mumbled, looking away as his face turned even redder.
"Oh? If it’s nothing, then I want to do nothing too," Yoongi teased, stepping closer.
"No!" Jimin yelped, immediately backing away, but Yoongi was quick.
Jimin turned to run, his giggles filling the air as he dashed toward his room. Yoongi ran after him, both of them laughing like children. Jimin made it inside his room, trying to close the door, but before he could, Yoongi pushed it open and pinned him against it.
Jimin’s breath hitched as he looked up, their faces just inches apart. Yoongi had a smirk playing on his lips, his eyes filled with mischief and something deeper… something Jimin could now recognize.
Love.
"You naughty," Yoongi teased, a smirk playing on his lips as he looked at Jimin.
"I'm not naughty," Jimin pouted, crossing his arms like a child.
Yoongi chuckled. "I know."
He took a slow step forward, closing the space between them. Jimin’s heart raced as he watched Yoongi lean in, his breath warm against his skin. Their faces were so close that Jimin could feel the warmth radiating from Yoongi. He squeezed his eyes shut, bracing himself, his stomach twisting in nervous excitement.
Then, he felt it—a soft, lingering kiss on his cheek. Jimin’s eyes fluttered open, a blush spreading across his face. Before he could react, Yoongi leaned in again, his eyes flickering to Jimin’s lips.
Jimin’s breath hitched. Just as Yoongi was about to close the remaining distance, Jimin suddenly wrapped his arms around Yoongi’s neck, pulling him into a tight hug instead.
"I can feel your breath, Yoongi," Jimin whispered against his shoulder. "I can feel your heartbeat too."
At those words, Yoongi’s smile widened, his arms tightening around Jimin’s waist. It felt unreal—after ten long years, he could finally feel warmth, he could finally feel alive.
Jimin took his hand, gently pulling him towards the mirror standing in the corner of the room.
"Look, Yoongi," Jimin said excitedly, pointing at their reflection. "I can see you in the mirror too."
Yoongi stared at his own reflection, his eyes shimmering with emotion. He reached out, touching the cold glass, as if making sure this wasn’t a dream. "Yes, Jimin… it’s all because of you. I love you."
Jimin smiled softly before leading Yoongi towards the bed. He playfully pushed him, but Yoongi, caught off guard, lost his balance and stumbled forward—falling directly onto Jimin.
Their faces were mere inches apart, their breaths mingling. Yoongi hovered over Jimin, one hand planted beside his head, the other resting gently on Jimin’s waist. Jimin, feeling a wave of boldness, grabbed Yoongi by the collar and pulled him even closer.
Yoongi smiled at the gesture, watching as Jimin hesitantly closed his eyes. Taking that as his sign, Yoongi leaned in, cupping Jimin’s cheek with one hand while the other tightened around his waist. And finally, their lips met.
It was soft at first, unmoving—just a feeling, just an acknowledgment of everything they had been through. Then, slowly, Yoongi started to move, deepening the kiss, pouring all his emotions into it. Jimin responded, tilting his head slightly, his hands gripping onto Yoongi’s shirt as if anchoring himself.
The kiss was slow, tender, and filled with the unspoken words of the past few days—the longing, the sadness, the happiness of finally being together.
When they pulled away, their foreheads rested against each other, their breaths still uneven.
Then, suddenly, a noise echoed through the silent room—a strange, eerie sound that sent chills down Jimin’s spine. His eyes widened in fear, and he immediately sat up, clutching onto Yoongi tightly.
Yoongi frowned, feeling Jimin tremble slightly against him. He rubbed gentle circles on his back, trying to calm him.
"What happened?" Yoongi asked softly, his voice laced with concern.
