Jin smirked. He crossed his arms and sighed dramatically. "Ah, we can’t, Yoongi. Sorry…"

Jimin’s face dropped instantly.

His lips parted slightly, and the way his shoulders slumped made it look like he was about to cry. His fingers clutched the hem of his sweater tightly, and he lowered his head, trying to hide the disappointment on his face.

Yoongi, on the other hand, tensed.

His hands clenched into fists at his sides. His jaw tightened. He didn’t say anything, but the look in his eyes was enough to tell everyone that he was clearly unhappy with Jin’s answer.

Namjoon, unable to hold back his laughter, finally spoke up. "Don’t worry, you two."

Jimin looked up.

"We’re staying."

There was a brief pause—then—

"Really?!" Jimin's face lit up so fast that it was almost comical. His eyes sparkled like a child receiving their favorite toy.

Yoongi’s body instantly relaxed. His clenched fists loosened, and a ghost of a smile appeared on his lips.

The others burst into laughter.

Jimin, realizing his own reaction, turned red. "Y-Yah! What’s so funny?!"

Kai grinned mischievously. "So… Jimin finally found someone, huh?"

Jimin whipped his head toward him and glared. "Shut up, Kai!"

Meanwhile, Yoongi coughed awkwardly and looked away, pretending to be completely unaffected.

The teasing didn’t stop there, and throughout the morning, the group continued their playful chatter.

The rest of the day passed by in a blur of laughter and curiosity.

They explored the mansion together, but no matter how much time they spent wandering through its endless hallways, the eerie feeling never left.

The house was massive—too massive for just one person.

Dark wooden furniture, tall ceilings, and dimly lit chandeliers only added to the haunted atmosphere.

Even though Yoongi had lived here for years, the others couldn’t shake the thought:

How does he live here alone?

Jimin, however, wasn’t as focused on the creepy house.

His thoughts were elsewhere.

At some point in the afternoon, he quietly excused himself and headed back to Yoongi’s room.

Jimin stepped inside and gently closed the door behind him.

He let out a small sigh, leaning against the door for a moment.

Everything had been so overwhelming—meeting Yoongi, the teasing from the others, the strange feeling in his chest every time Yoongi looked at him.

He needed a moment to breathe.

Just as he was about to turn around—

A shadow moved.

A presence.

Right behind him.

A chill ran down Jimin’s spine. His body went rigid. His breath hitched.

Slowly—very slowly—he turned around.

And there—

Yoongi.

Standing close. Too close.

Jimin’s heart nearly jumped out of his chest.
