TK had come home after dinner with his now fiance and couldn't wait to tell his 3 dads about it. He texted his mom letting her know that he was coming over the next day to tell Enzo something important. He also tried to reach Eliot but he wouldn't answer the phone. TK just shrugged that off, it was late. He then texted his dad that he would FaceTime him the next day with good news. The next morning he went straight to his mom's house to see Enzo. "Hey mom, is Enzo home? It's important."

She let TK in and directed him to the kitchen where his third dad was making breakfast. "Here kiddo, is everything okay?" He chose to tell him how well the dinner the night before had went. "Well Dad, I got engaged!" He could tell that both his mom and Enzo weren't as happy about the news as he was but that didn't surprise TK at all. None of his family liked his fiance all that much. "Can you guys at least try to pretend to be happy for me?"

He knew that it wasn't right to say that to them because he knew that they really were happy for him. "I'm sorry you guys, I didn't mean that, I'm just stressed. I've been trying to get a hold of my dad's friend who is like another dad to me but I can't, so I'm stressed."

TK came home to his apartment still stressed about not being able to get a hold of Elliot. Alex, his fiance, chose to come over that day to spend time with TK. He was pretty distressed when he finally decided to go over to his second dad's house with his fiance to be able to tell Elliot about it. He got even more distressed when they went to the house only to find it abandoned with a for sale sign out front. "Did he seriously just abandon me without even a warning?"

He couldn't focus on the whole drive back to his apartment because he was slowly spiraling. He tried to get the voice in his head to stop screaming at him but it was easier said than done. He couldn't help but remember that there were no warning signs when his dad abandoned him when he was a kid, just like with Eliot. One day everything with his dad was fine and the next, he was gone, no explanation, just never home or spending time with him anymore. He knew that this wasn't like when he was 6, Owen never physically left just mentally did, but TK still couldn't help but compare the 2 moments. "Hey babe, are you okay? Do I need to be worried about what you might do once you're alone?"

TK knew he should've expected Alex to ask him that question, deep down he did expect it, but he also hoped that his fiance had more faith in his sobriety. "Did you really just ask me if my dad's friend leaving would lead to a relapse? Is your faith in me that little?" Alex reassured him that he didn't, he was just worried about his mental health at that moment. When the day of the wedding came TK couldn't help but wish Eliot was there with him but no one was able to reach him, they all tried. TK had learned to be grateful for the ones who were there, Liv, Fin, Amanda and the girls, Noah, and Sunny. "Thank you guys so much for showing up, you have no idea how much this means to me."

That night was the first night that TK found his new husband sleeping with his friend, Mitchell. "What the hell is going on Alex?" He worked to keep his voice down because their son, Micheal, was sleeping in the next room.

After Alex told him that it had been happening since before they got engaged, TK told them both to get out of his house and never come back. TK was so heartbroken over that and everything else that he ended up relapsing and oding.
