TK also wanted to tell Gabriel something else that could possibly get the Texas Rangers fully involved in the case. "There is something that only 4 people in this world know and you have to promise me that Alex won't find out that I said anything about it." TK knows that the way he worded that worried the older man but he also knew how dangerous Alex was.

"His father is in prison for the rape and murder of Alex's ex-boyfriend. The thing that no one knows about that case is that it was a false confession. He was protecting his own child who was the person who actually did it. Me and Alex were on our fourth date when he told me and his mother was the first to find out."

"Okay so no offense but, why are you telling me about this? You told me he never came down to Texas so what does this have to do with the Texas Rangers?"

"Because 11 years ago, he was staying in Texas with his boyfriend at the time until said boyfriend was killed." TK could see the moment Gabriel remembered the case. "The killer was Trayvon Marcus Jones right?" The younger man knew that Alex's father was the one who confessed but wasn't the real killer.

"Yes and no. Like I said he was protecting Alex. He took credit for his son's crimes so that he wouldn't go to prison."

"I knew something wasn't right with that case, I just couldn't put my finger on it. It always felt too easy to me. That and when I interviewed Alex, he seemed extremely guilty." One thing that neither man knew was that as they talked outside of the hospital, Alex and his father were making plans, dangerous plans. They both went back into the hospital to once again join Andrea and Carlos in his room. The father-son duo started making plans to visit Trayvon in prison once Carlos was discharged from the hospital. And Andrea and TK were making plans to bake together as soon as they could.

The four of them agreed to hangout at the Reyes family ranch as soon as they could. While Carlos was in the hospital Alex was being arrested along with his boyfriend. Carlos was released from the hospital 2 weeks after he was shot and they had hung out at the ranch like they had planned. They were all sitting on the couch doing different things. Carlos and Gabriel were playing with Cody while TK and Andrea were looking through photo albums with Carlos's baby pictures in them. TK couldn't recall the last time he was this relaxed and it actually felt really nice. While he watched Carlos and Gabriel play with Cody TK couldn't stop himself from wondering what it would be like to have a kid with Carlos.

"He would make a great father, TK. You just have to talk to him about it." TK was unaware that he had thought out loud but he was kinda glad that he did. Deep down he knew that Andrea was right but he was also scared that having that conversation could break up their relationship. While they were flipping through the pages of the photo album they came across a picture that made TK laugh. "What is all over his face and why does it look like he ate somebody?"

"That is actually frosting all over his face and nobody was eaten, despite what it looks like." TK started non-stop treating Carlos about the Hannibal actor looking photo. When TK and Carlos left the ranch they chose to have Cody spend the night at Owens place so they could have some alone time. The minute they got home, they started making out like horny teenagers. In the morning TK woke with the undeniable urge to puke and immediately ran to Carlos's bathroom and started puking. He thought that he probably just ate something bad and shrugged it off. What he didn't know was that he was once again pregnant. After TK was done puking he woke Carlos up so that he could get ready to go with his father to visit Trayvon in prison. It took about 10 minutes for Carlos to get ready and it the door to pick Gabriel up at the ranch. "May I know what's bothering you dad?"

"I honestly don't know hijo, it's just that I don't think that we really closed this case. Why didn't he even try to fight back when we arrested him?"

"He probably knew that there wouldn't be any point. I don't know." What they didn't know was that the guy they were going to visit, escaped with his son and was going after someone close to them. When they got to the prison they were told that Trayvon and Alex escaped. When they went to Carlos's condo TK was relaxing on the couch which aggravated Alex. TK looked like he would if he was at his own house, which he never did at Alex's house. What made him even more pissed was when he heard him tell his boyfriend that he loves him. "Hey baby, I know you're driving right now but I need to talk to you about something important. I know we probably shouldn't have this kind of conversation over the phone but I don't wanna wait any longer."

"What is it Ty?"

"How do you feel about having kids someday?"

"I wouldn't be against the idea of having them. What brought this on?"

"Yesterday, when I saw you and Gabriel playing Cody I started wondering what it would be like to start a family with you. I love you by the way."

Alex could feel his blood boil at the thought of this stranger and the man who destroyed his family playing with his son. "I love you too. And I would love to start a family with you mi amor. I'm on my way home so I'll see you soon." Once they saw TK hang up the phone they continued with their original plan. They entered the house and tried to take TK. He put up a fight but they eventually overpowered him.

While they were pulling out of the driveway they saw Carlos's blue Camero pull in which scared Trayvon and Alex. Carlos and Gabriel got out of the car and went into the house and found it tossed. They could tell that someone was kidnapped and they didn't know if it was Cody or TK until they heard Cody crying in his room.
