Gwyn buzzed for her son to let her into his apartment but didn't get a response from TK which worried her. They had talked a week before about Gwyn spending some quality time with her grandson on this day, at this time so why wasn't he answering the door? She tried one more time but got the same response so she called her friend to help.

"Hey Gwyn, is everything ok?" She knew her calling Olivia while she was on shift was not the best idea but she was really worried about TK. "I don't know, I was supposed to spend the day with Cody but TK isn't answering the door and I'm kinda worried about him, Liv." Gwyn could hear the Police Captain telling Amanda Rollins that she was leaving to handle a family matter and would be back later.

"Okay are you at his apartment right now Gwyneth?" She told her that she was at the apartment and begged the other woman to hurry. The lawyer knew that her son had been clean for years but she couldn't silence the motherly instinct. She tried to call Alex but he wasn't answering either which was strange. "What the hell is going on right now?" Liv ended up kicking the door open but, in all honesty, neither of us were prepared for what we saw in TK's living room. The Captain instructed Gwyn to make sure that Cody didn't come out of his bedroom to see his father like this and Gwyn understood why.

Gwyn walked into her grandson's room to find him awake and looking for his dad which made her cry. The lawyer busied herself with taking care of Cody so that she wouldn't think of her friend or in the living room performing CPR on her son. While she was finishing changing the baby's diaper she heard her son's voice again in the living room.

"Mom? Mom, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." She put Cody back in his crib and headed back into the living room to find TK sobbing into Olivia's chest. She ran over to them and hugged her son, after he let go of the Police Captain, sobbing with him. They all arrived at the hospital at about the same time and the two women were not going easy on their son. "Were you even thinking about your son when you took those pills Tyler Kennedy?"

He told them both about what he had seen the night of his wedding and it only made them hate Alex even more. Gwyn has gotten an idea of how to help her son, but she knew he wasn't gonna like it. She stepped out of the hospital room so she could call her ex-husband about something important.

"Hey Owen, are you busy?" She really didn't want to be interrupting his treatment or anything like that. "No I'm not, is everything alright Gwyn?" Hearing his concern and having to imagine having to call him for a different reason had the lawyer sobbing instantly.

"Owen TK relapsed. Worse than that actually, he ODed and almost died. Alex cheated on him, he saw it and couldn't handle it. I want him to move to Texas with you." She had expected him to get mad at her for not protecting their son better but he actually seemed eager to live with his son again.

"Okay, when is he getting on the plane?" She knew she would have to tell him the other bad news too and chose to just rip off the band-aid. "Because of the OD, Alex made it seem like TK was an unfit parent and is now keeping Cody until custody is sorted out." She heard Owen let out what sounded like a deep breath which she guessed was part of his anger management. After that call Gwyn went back into her son's hospital room to tell him about the move and him not being able to see his son until he took his husband to court over it.

"TK I need to tell you 2 things, number 1, you are moving to Austin Texas to stay with your father. And number 2, Alex was able to convince a judge that you are an unfit parent because of your OD. Which means you won't be able to see Cody again unless you get full legal custody of him." She'll admit it, it broke Gwen's heart when TK started sobbing when he found out he may never see his son again. At that moment she promised herself that she would do whatever it took to get her grandson back with TK.
