This chapter takes place in the summer of 2017.

"Okay, so you guys have a 3:30 outfit fitting and an interview at HOT 107 at 7. I know today has been eventful, but that's what it is." You announced to them walking inside of the office.

"Okay, let's get it," Quavo said, standing and heading toward the door, and then everyone else followed suit

"Okay, let's get it," Quavo said, standing and heading toward the door, and then everyone else followed suit. You all went to the clothing store to meet with the stylist. "Hi, nice to meet you." You said, extending your hand out to her. "These are the guys," you added. "Okay, how about I start with you?" She said, pointing at Quavo. He got up and went to the back room to try on some clothes. Offset wandered off to look at more pieces of clothing, and that left you and Takeoff sitting on the couch outside the dressing room.

"Today has been so crazy, but it's worth it. I knew we made the right decision the day we hired you. You've been on your shit since day one." He turned to you and stated. "Thank you. But it's my job, that's what y'all hired me for." You responded with a smile. Take was always taking the time to make sure you felt appreciated, and working close to him, you started to have feelings for him, but he had a girlfriend, so you tried to keep it strictly business. There also. were late nights where y'all stayed up talking and smoking a blunt or two. He knew if no one was there, you'd be there... well, because it was your job. You were their assistant, and you handled all of their needs, no matter what it was. I know what you're thinking, but that's not how this chapter is gonna go 😂.  They're on tour now, and you have to really make sure you stay on top of your game.

"Okay, Takeoff, you're next." The stylist said, motioning him to follow her to the dressing room. He got up and started to walk, but suddenly turned around. "Come back here with me." He stated. "What you need me for?" You asked. "I wanna know your opinion on some shit. I know you ain't gon tell me nothing wrong." He responded. "Hmm, okay." You replied, then followed behind. He tried on multiple outfits, and you gave your opinion on each of them. "How you feel about this one?" He asked, walking from behind the curtains. You analyzed it and thought. "I fuck with it." You admitted. He smiled and turned to the stylist and said, "Okay, I want all the ones she said she liked." You then laughed.

Afterwards, you all went back to the venue of the day to do a little last-minute rehearsal. You sat in the audience while they performed and nodded your head, then Takeoff's girlfriend Key walked in and ran to the stage to hug him. The smile on your face faded really quickly. The two of them hugged and kissed for a while until you cleared your throat and said, "Okay, let's get back to work." As the tour went on, come to find out he invited her to travel with you all for the rest of the tour. Good thing there were only about four shows left.

Finally, the night of the last show, the Migos performed, and you were there every step of the way. Afterwards, you waited in the dressing room for them to come, but only Quavo and Offset showed up. "Where's Take?" You asked him. "Oh, he dipped with Key," Quavo responded. "Oh... Okay. Well, I need to tell y'all something." You stated. "Yeah, what's up?" Offset asked as he sat across from you. You took a deep breath and finally let it out. "So I just want to thank y'all for giving me this opportunity. I will always love y'all, but I think it's time for me to branch off on my own." You said. "Damn, so you just gon leave us like this?" Quavo asked.

"Nah. Don't do that. She wants to, as they say, "broaden her horizons," Offset said to him. "Listen, I'm proud of you and grateful for everything you've done for us, and I wish you great blessings." He finished. "So you gon tell Take?" Quavo questioned. "Yeah, I'll call him later." You responded.
On your flight later that night, you look at your phone and search for Takeoff's number. You hesitated to call him until you just decided not to. Once Take arrived back on the bus, Quavo and Offset told him about you quitting, and he wasn't happy. Even though he wasn't happy, he didn't showcase that emotion. Instead, he brushed it off, but deep down inside, he was wondering why.

Two months went by, and not a day went by that he didn't think about you, but he knew how to hide it. He was now single, though. He was sitting in his hotel room with the lights off, listening to some verses he recorded about a week ago, when Offset and Quavo burst in there and turned on the light. "Nigga what the fuck is you doing?" Offset asked. "Nigga in here lonely and shit," Quavo added as the two of them laughed. "Aight, get the fuck out. Let me finish doing what I'm doing." Takeoff playfully responded. The two of them left him alone as he asked, but then they had an idea. "You know what I'm thinkin' right?" Quavo asked. "I'm texting her now," Offset replied. A few days later, the boys flew you in as a surprise for Take.

You were kind of nervous because you didn't know if he'd be mad at you for leaving and not telling him. You peeked out into the dining room and saw him sitting at the table. "Does he even know I'm coming?" You asked them. "Nah," Quavo responded. "Oh, my God." You exclaimed. "Chill out.. you'll be good. What you think he gon do? Fight you?" Offset reassured you. You giggled at the question and then took a deep breath. "Yeah, you right." You agreed, then took one final deep breath before walking out.

You walked up to the table where he was, and he looked up with a surprised look. "Hey," you said nervously. "Hey." He responded, shocked to see you. He was happy but still had a few questions about your departure. He stood up and hugged you for about 10 seconds. Afterwards, you guys sat down. "So, where you been?" He asked straightforwardly. You chuckled nervously. "Um, I went back to school to pursue other things." You responded. "But damn, you just left without saying nothing to a nigga. I thought me and you was closer than that." He replied. "You right. I just..." You let out a deep sigh before finishing. "You just what?" He asked.

"I guess it's time to come clean now that I don't work for you anymore. I had feelings for you, and those were getting stronger, and you had a girlfriend, and seeing you with her... I couldn't take hiding how I felt anymore, so I felt it was best to remove myself from the situation." You finally confessed. "Damn, that's crazy." He said, reaching across the table, grabbing your hand. "I been feeling the same way, and it hurt when you left without telling me. Me and Key didn't last long afterwards either, and the one person I knew would be there for me wasn't. I thought about you every day." He said to you. "I'm sorry." You apologized. "I'm not holding it against you. Come here." He told you. You walked around the table and sat on his lap. He pressed his lips against yours, and your whole body filled with butterflies. "I want you to be mine." He said, looking into your eyes.

I know it's been hella long since I released a chapter, and I'm super sorry. This chapter was also a submission, and I'm glad cause I wanted something light and cute. I hope you enjoy it.
SN: I really can't believe next week will be a year since we lost Takeoff. Time went by too fast. I still can't believe he's gone. 🚀
