This one is a bit of a slow burn. More story telling 🦋
It was a fall afternoon and you had a meeting with your manager who was one of the top managers to a lot of the stars in the industry. As you waited outside in the waiting area, out walked Takeoff of the Migos. The two of you made eye contact, he then gave you a little smile and you smiled back. They finally finished up the conversation and said their good byes. "There's my favorite girl! Come on let's talk business." You manager expressed enthusiastically. "Yeah, I'm ready, let's go." You responded with your phone in your hand. "Can I use your phone real quick?" Takeoff asked you. You were a little shocked because why would he need to use your phone, doesn't he have his own? "Sure." You responded, you handed him the phone and he walked off to the side for a minute. You greeted your manager and waiting for him to finish using your phone.
About a minute later, he returned it. You looked on the screen and saw a number and thought nothing of it so you started to erase it. "Wait don't erase it." He said. You looked down and noticed, it was his phone number and laughed embarrassedly. "Oh okay." You responded. "Yeah, call me sometime." He said to you. He was very charming and his aura was warm and welcoming, and he had the prettiest smile. He walked away, leaving you wondering. He's always been your one of your favorites and clearly he wanted you too. You then snapped out of it and focused on what you were there for and walked in and sat down in front of your manager. He basically told you all of the rappers that inquired for you to be in their music videos.
"I'm going to say yes to the Drake and Lil Baby one, Gunna, Lil Durk and..." You looked through the pictures and noticed Quavo's name and then added, "The Quavo one." "Okay, I'll call their teams and let them know the requirements." He responded. "The Quavo video actually starts shooting tomorrow morning. So I'll get right on that one. The video is for their song "Mixy". He said. "Okay, well call me if you need anything else." You stated as you stood up and shook his hand then walked out to continue the rest of your day. You had a full day of pampering ahead. First you went to your wax lady, then you headed to your nail tech, next was getting your hair done and you finally went home for some much needed rest since the call time for the video was at 8 am.
The next day, you woke up around 5am, brushed your teeth, did your skin care routine, got dressed and made yourself some avocado toast. When you looked at the clock, it was 7am. You got a notification that your driver was outside and got your keys and headed downstairs from your apartment building and got in the car. You put in your earbuds and played the song "Mixy." You listened to the song and visualized what to do so that you could get prepared. The ride lasted about 35 minutes and you pulled up to the location. They immediately sent you to hair, makeup, and wardrobe. There were about 4 other models there as well. You greeted everyone and sat on the chair. Your hair was already done, they just did a few touch ups and put it in a ponytail. As you were getting your makeup done, you noticed Takeoff in the background, talking to the director and smiled. They finally got you to wardrobe and your first outfit was nothing but velour tracksuit.
