Best New Artist

You are an up and coming artist and you had a beautiful voice. You started your journey by posting singing covers on Youtube and Instagram. One day you uploaded a video of you singing "Listen" by Beyoncé on your Instagram and it went VIRAL which gained you a lot of attention from labels and other music artists and you had a pretty solid fan base already. A few days later, you were contacted on Instagram by Pierre "Pee" Thomas and he invited you and your manager to the label to look at a contract. The offer was $1.7 million and a 3 album deal. Of course you looked over your contract before you signed it. You were the new artist on the Quality Control label and you were the first R&B singer so you kind of stuck out. You had been signed to the label for about 4 months and were preparing to drop your first album.

You were going to perform your new single for the first time LIVE at an award show. One afternoon you were rehearsing for your performance when you noticed Takeoff watching in amazement in the mirror. You turned around and walked to him.
"So what you think?" You asked. "It looks good. I like the way you move." He responded. "Oh okay. Thank you." You replied. The Migos were in the studio since they were also performing at the same show. "Shouldn't you be rehearsing too?" You asked, folding your arms. "You gone do a lil two step?" You chuckled. "Haha, something like that. I come with the bars, don't really need the foot work." He replied. "Ah okay. If you can't dance just say that." You told him as you laid your hand on his shoulder. "Girl, please. I can dance when I want to. Maybe I can teach you some moves." He responded. You smiled and got lost in his eyes for a minute then you snapped back into reality. "Maybe you can teach me a lot." You responded. "Maybe." He replied, the two of you gazed into each others eyes for a few seconds until you snapped out of it "Well... I gotta finish rehearsing. We can catch up later." You said. "Okay. Bet. And good luck." He said, patting you on the shoulder and then walking off. You went back to rehearsing. Since you got signed, you and Take slowly developed a friendship. You weren't really a fan of the Migos but you knew a couple of their songs. He was actually the first person out of the group to follow you on Instagram and would often post screenshots of him listening to your songs.

Over the next two days you did nothing but hard work non stop, making sure you hit every note and knew every 8 count.

The day was finally here. You were on stage and confident in everything. You performed your new single Tease Me in front of millions of viewers. The crowd...and Take was mesmerized by your sexy, seductive dance moves, you even made eye contact with him a few times. Once you were done, you got a standing ovation from mostly everyone in the crowd, including your label mates that cheered the hardest for you. On top of that, you ended up winning the Best New Artist award. This was something you've dreamt of accomplishing and it finally came true. Once the show was over, Pee invited everyone out to dinner. You went back to your hotel room, showered, touched up your makeup and changed into your dress.
