Hey guys! Hope you're enjoying this so far! Here's another chapter (:
It wasn't even lunch, and I'd cried twice. But Louis was always there, comforting me, telling me I don't deserve this hate, telling me I'm beautiful. To be honest he was the brother I never had. He always had my back, he was there for me, we spent every second we could together secretly because of the feud.
"She isn't even pretty! Why bother with her Louis? She's a loser!" A group of girls cooed. I was fighting back the tears that were threatening to spill. Louis just put an arm around me.
"Don't listen to them, El. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on. You're my best friend, and nothing will change that. No matter how famous or rich either of us get, we will always be best friends," he said, pulling me into a hug. He kissed my head, and released me.
"Why can't our mums just get over our friendship? It's between them, it doesn't involve us."
"Actually it does love. My mum wanted to have a daughter with your dad, but your dad left her and got with your mum. You are the daughter she wanted with him. Instead, she married my dad, and had a son, that she hates. We're all connected to this feud." I sighed, and looked forward. He lightly chuckled, and wrote a few things down in his notebook.
When the bell rang, I was relieved. I was starving, and ready for lunch. Louis and I strolled over to our usual spot and sat down. We both had sandwiches, and a cookie. I got peanut butter, and he got chocolate chip. I'm allergic to peanut, so we traded. Yup, we were that kind of pair, the kind that trades food. His friend Kyle came up and sat by us.
"Hey guys!" he said cheerfully.
"Hi Kyle," Louis and I said at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed. We were soon joined by Jesse, Carter, and Danny. Louis and I sat next to each other, as always, with his arm around me. Kyle, Jesse, Carter, and Danny were our best friends. We met them in 6th grade. But they didn't have the bond that Louis and I had. As far as I was knew, no one did.
"So, is Loulla in action?" Jesse asked with a huge smirk.
"No! We're just very good friends. Is it wrong to be best friends with a girl Jesse?" Louis said, calmly.
"No, but you guys are so close, you would think that you were dating. Which you guys so should," he muttered the last part, giving him a swift kick from Louis. He always teased us, saying we should date and all that.
"Besides, if we did, and his mum found out she would choke on her tea," I giggled at the thought. Louis held back a guffaw, and just chuckled. When the bell rang for class, we said goodbye, and headed off to History.
